I remember The Giving Tree as a kid. I finished it by myself after my mom read it to me, and I remember being so happy that I got to the end on my own that I read it again. C:

I remember reading How to Disappear Completely and Never Be Found was my favorite, and for years after I could never find it. After hunting at a garage sale, I found it and have it in my library once again.. heart

I'd have to said my favorite book as a kid was either Harold and the Purple Crayon or The Three Little Kittens. I miss those books. sad
