What anime do you hate most? Why?

I don't exactly hate them but I don't like them either.. but I'd have to live up to the AMC faggotory stereotype and say Naruto and Death Note.

for one, they're not the types of show/genre I'd watch but they're also highly overrated and most of the fans do -more or less- kill them with their stupid musings.

Iike for example, with a few Death Note fans.. after watching it they must have some "I'm going to become a wanna be emo and act like an emotionless and uncaring arsehole nao =D" s**t going on..and then say s**t like "I hope you die", "I hope your parents die" and "I'll be the one who killed your family =D" (narutards too) yes it may be funny to some but..wtf.. it could be insulting to others.. for all they know someone's parents could of died or be dieing or died recently...

I've been seeing it everywhere I go lately, I think it's following me. Anyways, I personally think the artwork is pretty bad, none of the dogs look right. It also seems to me like they copied a few things off of Wolf's Rain (A really good anime, my second favorite.) and made them really bad. Perhaps judging it like that isn't fair, I've only seen the opening theme, a few amvs of it, and part of the first episode and I hate it so much.

Actually, Ginga Densetsu WEED, the manga to be exact, came out a good four to five years BEFORE Wolf's Rain premiered. The anime didn't come out until a year or two after Wolf's Rain. sweatdrop


I don't hate it, but I don't think the anime movie Akira was all that great. Same thing with Neon Genesis Evangelion and Lucky Star (although the OP is kinda cute).

Actually, as far as the actual animation quality goes, in terms of shonen anime, its got pretty high quality. Especially in the later episodes.

I think you must be talking about the art style...In which case I have to dissagree with you. In my opinion its very refreshing to see a more original art style as opposed to something more generic looking (like a good 80% of the other crap out there).


My most hated anime? Love Hina. What a piece of s**t...but what more can one expect from Ken Akamatsu? rolleyes

Eva's not my thing either, and I think its quite over rated. Yes, I can see where it gained a huge following, and I can recognize that its very influential to anime...but its just not really for me...ya know?

Akira had good animation, I won't be mean about that. I couldn't get into the movie either...plus the scene where (spoiler just in case)Tetsuo's kills his girlfriend by squeezing her until she was just guts/blood more-or-less (end spoiler) didn't really help me out. It actually gave me nightmares for a while. xD:

I can understand/see why it's popular as well, and it has a good opening song, but I couldn't get into the anime after a few episodes. The one where that chick has sex with her boyfriend kinda gave me a WTF moment. xD
