What's freaky is the "Shadow people" spirits. They are people who can't leave this plane, but don't have enough energy left to make a full form for themselves -- accompanying them is a fear of dread. But that's just myth though, as far as I can tell. The idea of those things bother me.

Shadow people that spawn from lack of energy are just hallucinations, though, there are theories that they are part of a parallel universe, or a message from the subconscious trying to get to the actual reality. There's a few more theories but I didn't look into it with the required amount of time to really get the details. Anyway, the only people who reported being attacked by them are the people who were on meth, so, it was probably just a bad trip or something. The ones I saw, and most people, just kinda are doing things in their own little world. . . nothing to be scared of.


Edit: I believe in the spirit shadow people, but, I'll play it off as myth until I encounter one. As to the other kind, I'm really on the fence. I know they are hallucinations, not really there, but. . . at the same time, I don't know if they're real and just not part of this reality or if they're all just mind games. If that makes any sense.

Kinda like my take on vampires - I believe vampirism exists, but I don't know if its in the reality of the individual or the reality as a whole.

I did read about that -- but those are the ones I am referring to as "spirits", the ones that cause dread. The "hat man" and "cloaked figure" fall into this category -- I may have the title of the grouping wrong, but, these are different entities than the ones brought on by sleep deprivation. One is played off to be real, the other hallucination with. . . other possibilities.

I wouldn't doubt people'd be attacked by the spirit ones. They just scream bad news to me.

Did you ever hear of white shadow people? . . . Same thing only white instead of black, of course. I saw one of those, and it /did/ attack me -- but again, that was back in a time when I wasn't sure if I was daft or not. Still not as far as all this goes. emo Anyway, the white one was able to take on a real form, so, it, if it does exist and I wasn't just seeing things, is different than the normal spirit "Shadow People".

honestly for a long time i thought vampires were THE coolest thing on the face of the planet, no lie. As in psi vamps not sure, my biological mother taust me things like raki healing which she had me on occasion help with clients, however, in highschool my friend was hurting and i said well let me try something and i laid my hands over her arm and thought about pulsing my energy out from the core of my being and down into her arms burning away everything that hurt well anyways long story short other ppl wanted me to do it because they didn't believe it and instead of healing them I instead ended up burning them and hurting them they would seriously pull away from me (mind you i stopped living with my mother at the age of 14 could be why). Another thing I was acutally burned by a cross in an old temple atop a hill and it was in the shade and not on fire or anything and i touched it. Another thing is that I'm allergic to the sun and was diagnosed as that by my doctor any sunburns i get generally send me to the ER. One other thing is many times when I was at the doctor's when they would take my pulse it would turn up as no heartbeat. I really never wake up until night time. However i do not feel withdrawals from anything and I explain it all as a strange coincidence or it might've been my subconscious from reading a ton of books in that department pushing my body into something like vampiric traits...the world will never know. I would just say I have bad genetic traits from my parents. Anyways I think this forum is awesome and kudos to all vampires!! smile

I ahve a pretty serious question about this/myself.

I wonder if I might be a psyvamp, or something similar
But I don't know I "feed" off of sexual energy. I have a sex addiction because of this crave and need. I need to have sex, I need to get my partner off. I don't even care if i reach orgasm myself, I jsut need the satisfaction of them.

I can go at this for hours, but after my partner gets off/ or been in a heavy petting session with me they collapse/ pass out, and are completely drained.
if I haven't been intimate with someone for some reason I can't sleep I get edgy, I get down right irritable similar to a smoker that can't smoke for some reason.

I also love the taste of blood but i consider that more of a fetish i don't need it like I need this sexual energy.

@Rainbow Lei: I'll start by saying this, we cannot tell you what you are. It's the internet, not a crystal ball in lala-land.

Sexual vampires are commonly refered to as 'tantric vampires'.

Many people are skeptical of tantric feeding, mostly because sex can give human beings quite a few strange experiences. The idea behind it is not very clear to me, but I know the basics. During sexual activity, energy is exchanged from one person to the other(s) and back. This 'sexual energy' is usually refered to as tantric energy; tantra is another word for the exchange in energy during sex and other intimate moments. The vampire would typicly need a bit more energy and the body and/or spirit (whatever you may believe) would respond by taking such energy.

It's almost similar to photosynthesis, I suppose. The plant needs food and takes it's food passively through it's organelle, rather than using brain activity to search for and intake food.

As for your own symptoms, in my opinion, you describe someone suffering through a sex addiction with a run-of-the-mill placebo affect. But to really know this, I'd have to get to know about your sex life a little more. But I'd rather not.

Anyway, I can only give an opinion here. Shame how people seem to think technology is so advanced when it's really just tollerated as the 'better than nothing' choice.

and why aren't they listed as a vampire sub-speices or something. I wouldn't have had to post my question because I know what i feel, I just didn't fit perfectly under blood/psi because I don't "need" blood and I dont feed off of other energies only sexual ones.
