Hrrm..now im looking at pages about living blood consumption...Which reminds me of Elizabeth Bathory, who believed consuming blood of virgins kept her young...Im terribly skeptic of everything that cant be proved by science x333

I thought that I was a psivamp for quite a while, which is how I became involved in this whole scene. Eventually, though, I realized that I'm more of an energy junkie than a real vampire. I work with and occasionally consume metaphysical energies, and I do crave them every now and then, but I don't require them to stay healthy. Now I just help out around the community. =)

It's good to be skeptical, in fact I encourage it. It proves that you're thinking, you know? To be honest, I probably wouldn't believe all of this if I hadn't had witness it first-hand.

I think i would have to witness it first hand too.
Im a skeptic, but i hate to say ['uihh..va]mpires arent real' ..which is all most people had to say on your thread >__>

You can't technically consume energy.... =S

You can consume food, which changes to chemical energy because it was a form of potential energy....

But whatever...

Vampires= Reanimated dead, that's how it's been since "vampires" were first though up by unfortunate anemics and people who so happened to catch rabies.

All you did was change your meaning to make your little "fantasy" seem like a lifestyle.

Another interesting point would be that "psivamps" do not "consume" energies, but just get their adrenaline pumped when around energetic people and people doing activities such as dancing, running, ectect... I get excited when around dancing people or people having a good time, most people do. Doesn't make me a "psivamp" or any of the other people.

And those who are "sang" or whatnot are more-than-likely experiencing a placebo effect.
And drinking another person's blood is very unhealthy, therefore dangerous to do... which is probably where the thrill really comes from.

Well, you said a bunch of things regarding how vampires 'really' work, so I asked you to prove it. It's kind of a gripe of mine. I know that, since we're on the internet, neither side can really prove that vampires (our definition, anyways, I'm fairly sure the normal definition doesn't exist) do or don't exist, so I don't like it when people claim either way. I even get annoyed when vampires try to throw proof around.

I'm not really targeting just the drinker, but the drinkee (haha, I like that word) too.
Being the drinkee, there are some obvious factors...
Like if the drinker doesn't know what s/he's doing and cuts too deep, severs a tendon, ect... Just, ow.

Since bacteria is a breeding ground for germs (ew~) you could get the drinkee sick, which is never fun.

Sucking blood from the would can damage veins, too. No one wants damaged veins!! D=

There are other's, but that involves googling, which I'll do later. XD

Eating too much black pudding can do the same (sorry its made of blood so I had to mention it).

You'll find most sangs take about an eggcup's worth at most and that can sustain them for a good week or so. Some sangs dilute blood down in milk or red wine as well to disguise the taste.

Yep, and that's true. (BTW, I'm the OP. xD) I wish I could do something to stop all of the confusion, but the community chose 'vampire' as the blanket term so naming the thread anything else would've been just a little weird. That's why I stuck the word 'human' up there, figured maybe it'd at least help.
