Hot Topic never was very metal though. Scene kids ******** love it though. The best part of Hot Topic is probably starting s**t with the staff and shoppers. Except SOMETIMES you'll find a guy or girl there who knows his/her stuff.

Let me add that although I have gotten some stuff from there, I only like shopping there when no one else is there. I refuse to be in the same store as an emo kid.

I mostly go to Backstage (it's an independent store, not a franchise). Think of it as Hot Topic, but with REAL metal stuff. And with no scene kids.

And to be honest, I thought you'd be the Hot Topic-going type, since you like vampires and all...... >_>

i dont dress goth, emo, punk etc etc.
I just wear whatever looks high fashion ish for cheap prices

I dress mostly in nerd or metal attire. Band/gaming/any good pop-culture tee will do for me. Or neutral clothes.

If I'm at home, I'll wear pretty much anything in my drawer. My Slayer shirt is a favorite of mine though. So is my Anthrax shirt. And my Judas Priest shirt. 8D

I've never been to a Hot Topic. There's not one where I live.

Consider yourself lucky. There's f*****t emo kids swarming malls just for those ******** poser stores. And to think that some of the good bands (ex: Slayer, Pantera, Megadeth, Judas Priest) actually allowed Hot Topic to sell merchandise for them. Well, it's no surprise that Megadeth let them do it, since frontman Dave Mustaine used to be a heavy heroine user. So that explains some of it.

How come it seems that most people hate Hot Topic because they get the Emos? I never see them at my Hot Topics....>.>

My cousin told me about this place...she goes to school away from here...in her cafeteria. And her cafeteria is devided by groups just like in the movies! D= (Please note : My school doesn't have a cafeteria ). And there is this one group of kids called "The magicks". And she said when she was new she sat there by accident.

One of the girls was going off with.."Oh you know, I wanted to wear make up today. I wanted to dress up nice. Because, you know...I'm a girl. I like sex."

And when she told me this story I was just like...

"Don't guys like sex too?"
