To tell you the truth.... I have no idea. I'm pretty confused as of now... Con lists, pro lists, Q&A, vampires, humans, evidence, etc. Those questions were talking about? Are those the con list, or are they just normal questions?

Con-Vampire:

-Placebo effect: The need to take blood/energy from a "victim" isn't a need at all. The "vampires" claim they have an energy deficiency and need to take the blood/energy to quench that need. However, the "healing"/"getting better" effects this process has is only in their mind.

-They simply wish to emulate that which is so commonly portrayed in the media.

-In an attempt to feel "special" or like an "individual", said "vampires" made up a condition to make them stand out.

-Its another illness, but the "vampire" was too lazy/didn't care enough/didn't think to search for other possible solutions.

-It's just anemia.

This is what we got for the con list so far, correct? I think we already posted Hikarulol's arguments in here(Placebo effect was the main one, other than the laziness one), though it can't hurt to look back.

Even though we already have the media one, I just think we should really add this:

-They read Twilight and thought it was the smex.

If we don't have that in there.... it's just... a con list. With this, it's a nice and salty con list. And here is another one:

-They are just lying about their syndromes and deficiencies online and are making it all up.

2b.) They were influenced by the "elegant" vampire lifestyle often seen in Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, or the more "goth" version of them portrayed in the movie "Queen of the Damned".

3.) In an attempt to feel "special" or like an "individual", said "vampires" made up a condition to make them stand out.

4.) Its another illness, but the "vampire" was too lazy/didn't care enough/didn't think to search for other possible solutions.

5.) It's just anemia, as the symptoms can all be explained by this disease.

6.) They are just lying about their syndromes and deficiencies online and are making it all up.

7.) They found a vampire community either online or in real life, and felt like it was something they could be accepted into, "vampire" or not.

8.) They fall under the gothic stereotype and adopted the term "vampire" to sound more menacing.

this may be late but...

what makes a vampire is that they have a rare disease that deteriorates their blood, which is the reason why the thirst for it. also, because of bad blood, they have extremely dry skin, which makes them susceptible to UV light - and dry bones, which is why they are vulnerable to the stake. the reason why they go for the neck is because it gives them access to some main arteries while sneaking up on the victim.

but some things i can't explain:
the garlic
the cross
the sharp teeth: beats the hell out of me
