soooo sorry to burst your bubble [tiny](no i'm not)[/tiny] but i've been to medical professionals time and time again. i've explained this multiple times now on this thread alone. guess what, they don't know what's wrong with me, i have no existing known deseases and i've even been tested for rare ones like prophyria. so yea, you theroy, total crap.

You guys don't read s**t do you? I mention the people who never received medical treatment or a clear diagnosis in my speech that you failed to read. But since your doctor at your area couldn't tell you, you guy all get this zany idea and call yourselves vampires all because a doctor at your area couldn't fine the answer. Thats what the internet if for! Find the MEDICAL symptoms and searh for a MEDICAL answer. Than once you narrow your search, find a doctor that can help you out. As I read these posts, I often wonder if I would be this delusional and just except any mythical or supernatural label for my dyslexia, if I never took the initiative to search my problem. It's a good thing I'm not a delusional person who believe in any crack pot idea that comes my way.

Too add to this, vampirism is not an organized religion of any sort. Therefore, there are no absolute facts, since we don't have all the answers ourselves.

And you wonder why we humans demand proof from you vampires. You said it yourself. Vampirism is not a religion. So you have no belief. But since you are claiming your are vampires, therefore you must prove that you are a vampire.

Thank you everyone for your replies! Ok, so that makes a lot more sense. So, for the most part, those that do consider themselves vampires are alive but it helps, and you need, to feed from blood to get the energy and not have other issues with normal food. Ok ok. I still think that is very interesting even if ya'll aren't the 'omgosh I can't go out in sunlight' people biggrin . Again, thank you for your replies. I love the 'idea of' vampires and I love to learn.

Oh, one more question, is this a lifestyle choice for most of ya'll or is it something you have to do. Like, you were born with it. I think the subject was touched on but I wanted to clear it up a bit. Sorry for asking so many questions!

Btw, thank you to whomever took notice in my Twilight obsession. lol. biggrin If I could find a Blood Ties layout I would put that up on my profile as well. Love those books.

Actually, we don't need to drink blood. We can just manipulate the energy directly (kinda like the aura...) and we take amounts of energy from other people, things, or from nature. Yup...

Yeah it's a little thing call eating food. You should try it sometime.

Not fictional vampires! Why don't people read?!

Because you vamps don't back your claims. So fictional character you remain.

Why would her symptoms stop once she had the kid, if she was having symptoms before she even got pregnant?

Anemia in most cases are so easy to treat, it's like getting over a common cold.

THIS is the absolute definition of a vampire. Anything other than this is invalid, and is a completely differant thing. Accept it.
And don't twist the second definition --- A predator prey relationship is completely differant from a commensalistic relationship.

they have backed thier claims many times through this thread and the one before it. so if your interested in answers read back instead of wasting your time. or if your just here to be annoying go away. -.- this is for vampire support not to prove they exist. i could say im black, or i have an arm missing. does it have anything to do with belief? and how do i prove it to you if i dont want to send pictures to a complete stranger? there are some cults to do with vamparism but they certainly dont count for the majority of the vampire community.

*sigh* how many times..... words change thier meanings get over it. do you have a word for what it is besides vampirism? not that it matters since it wont change anything. -.-

Okay. XD

If vampirism is indeed anemia and so easy to treat, why do so many 'vampires' see doctor after doctor, sometimes end up in the hospital on their death beds... after many blood tests later, don't you think they'd try to treat for anemia just in case? I'm sure they would. And even then, it would be something more than that.

The thing is. Vampires need to feed. On prana or blood (sometimes and). When they don't they get sick, sometimes almost die (I've actually known a few who have been pronounced more than a few times). When they do, all that goes away and they are able to survive. That is why they call themselves vampires. The need to take in living force from other sources. Mainly blood, and prana. But some say theres more in the blood that sanguinarian types need, not just prana (blood has a high amount of prana with in it).

"Vampire" is the closest word they can call themselves.
And notice, vampires are HUMAN. And they never say they aren't human (unless they're completely bonkers). Even in lore (yeah, sure, I'll bring up lore), vampires were always human with a condition. The only time they were called inhuman was when idiots were so afraid of what they didn't understand that they called anyone who was different a monster.

Granted, lore also made readily available the numerous of vampiric creatures that were not human but were things like the leanann sidhe. Including some animals that were supposedly vampiric (besides bats). But all that is another story.

Of course, no amount of arguing and fact will sway someone who is set in their ways, or somehow have a personal vendetta against those who claim this. So, I guess... what's the point of trying?

it could be mental it could be physical, no one knows yet unless i missed something. the fact that people have nasty withdrawal symptoms must make it feel physical. but its amazing what the mind can do.....

A freakin vampire in this thread already said that vampirism is NOT organized religion. Would like to try the "vampires have already back their claims bullshit again?" I say it again in this thread. I been debating this subject since I was 17. I am now 21 years old. I done my research and have a counter argument for every bias claim they dish out.

OH RIGHT.
Because people want to be starving and feel like s**t and almost die in a hospital.
No you're right. They're just making it all up.

um exactly what point are you trying stress here? i didnt say its religion, only there are a few cults, and thats not organised is it? vampirism as a whole isnt a religion, its what i said. neutral

Er, there is a difference between Romanticizing a word, and having a definition of a word evolve.

Romanticizing is pretty much completely changing the definition of a word in order to fit your or another's purpose. Lawyers are pretty infamous for that. ;D
A definition of a word evolving still sayings in the basic definition, only broadened more. All you did was Romanticize it. Not evolved it.
