Why thank you, that is generous.
For the most part, I view vampirism (when combined with its associations) as a window, a way to understand our need for feeding, the process of drawing energy, and our relationship with the world (for me, the divine.)
Just as in other cultures, there are other ways of describing it.
Although that doesn't make vampirism any less "special", or any less real. I believe that the way we connect with the need to draw energy aligns us with certain universal energies, or aspects of the psyche. Which can be beneficial.
Also, it creates a community, which is nice.
Although that's just how I see it.
But I'm probably not making much sense now, and I'll stop rambling :p
