@L: Aye they can be, so can cats smile

@Lunasif: I hope so to, there's a chance of a job in camden doing the same as I do now just for twice the amount.
No I didn't get pet insurance, this is the first time he's been ill since I got him, he's now 14 years old.

Well good luck with the job. smile Hm, I think insurance might be a bit pricey for a cat that old anyway. sad Well at least its the only time he's been ill. We have one little cat that's been desperately ill and has cost the insurance company tons. >.>'

Thanks,
Yea, it would be too pricey for the old furball.
What's up with the little kitty?

Ah, it was pretty nasty. We got this cute long haired tabby kitten and only had her about a week when she suddenly had some kind of fit, sprinting around the house then she collapsed twitching with her eyes going wild. I wasnt there though, but I was told it was very disturbing. sad Well when they got her to the vets they found out she had a ear infection that had made its way into her brain. o.o' It still sounds weird to me...We were more amazed to know it must have been there for at least a few weeks and causing immense pain, but the cat hadnt acted unusual at all. Well the poor thing had to be taken up and down to the vets, which she hated for the next few months, and have a ton of medication shoved down her throat... she eventually became better, but she ended up being a permanent kitten, the medication stunted her growth, her brothers are twice as big as her. >.<' And she has a bit of brain and ear damage that makes her walk with her head tilted to one side, crippling her sense of balance. If she looks up she falls over. >.<' She's incredibly cute but sad, I've even heard her squealing in her nightmares. She wont go near many people either now, and she barely goes out the front door. So sad...

The poor little fluff ball. That sounds awful, can't imagine what she went through, the poor girl.

Yeh, I wouldnt want to know what she went through. >.<' I was usually the one taking her backwards and forwards in taxis, and trying to get her going again by playing with her for a couple of hours each day, like physiotherapy. I'm glad I didnt have to try and get her to swallow the tablets thought. >.< Anyway I think we dived off topic... >.>

Mkay, here's an interesting question. I don't know if anyone talked about this, but do you guys think it's possible for animals be sangs or psi-vamps? If so, what are your thoughts on it?

I think it is possible for other animals to be psi-vamps.

For sangs, I'd go with no. Evidence seems to point to sanguinarian vampirism being a condition of the body; it's likely a human-exclusive mutation.

Everything takes energy from another.
But more of a need/control, no.

I don't doubt an animal could have psychic-vampirism. Sanguinarianism though, I'm a bit iffy about. Part of me asks why not but then don't animals already have that 'blood lust' in them? The urged to hunt and taste the blood and flesh of a fresh kill...

But that's ALL that they eat, and it's the norm for their species. It isn't a mutation or alternation of some sort like it is for us. Maybe it started as a mutation howevermany thousands of years ago when vampire bats first evolved, but it stands in the present day as something completely different.

Lunasif, Damarus, I've got a little bit of bad news. Concerning the gatherings in the UK for the Community most are invitation only now and even the elders are having a tough time getting involved with them. With the release of twilight the Community has gone even further underground. To the point where my friend, an elder of the community, (who founded many of the UK vampire organisations) cannot get into them. He said he'd pass on any information he can get his hands on but at the moment the only meeting he knows of that happens on a regular basis is on the Isle of Lewis, Outer Hebrides. The other meetings he knows of are full of wannabees, and nothing to do with the actual Community itself.
