Yeah, it does seem very savage...I was just wondering.

Meh, not savage, just stupid.
Biting is a long and painful experience for the donor. While some of us DO have natural fangs with which to bite, others don't. Razors/Syringes are much more subtle methods. Besides, biting them was just how a mythical vampire would prey on an unwilling victim. We on the other hand only take from willing donors and thus more controlled methods are doable and far less brutish and savage. I would say anyone who actually bites their donor is either weird or whatever. Methods of feeding vary from vampire to vampire I suppose, but I myself when I take blood like to use either a razor or a sterilized syringe (if I had one >_> )

Anyways, that about does it for this short little explanation of my opinion. So yea...

Question for sangs: I know it's unsanitary, but have you ever bitten a person's neck (and broke the skin) to get blood?

I know most of you probably haven't, but I was just wondering if anyone's ever tried it, even if it's not your usual way of getting blood.

I have done by accident in the throes of passion, with my partner at the time. I didn't bite their neck to feed though, it just happened.
Me and my little sister are part vampire it sort of runs in our family and she's been into that stuff since she was 6 and she keeps telling me "Luke one day I will become one of them and be part of the world... and yes vampirism is real my mom is into it too but for some reason my sister changes her mind alot about it because like she says she wants to come one then switches to wanting to learn wicca then goes straight back to it . Yes she loves vampires and she does drink her own blood which freaks me the ******** out. sweatdrop neutral rolleyes

I've said it before, There is no such thing as "part vampire", you either ARE one, or you're NOT. There IS no "half".

I wish people would just understand that already >_>

Maybe she's confused, or trying to be something she's not.

Drinking her own blood doesn't do anything for her anyways.

Much agreed.

and there isn't such thing as a half vampire. Like Xero said, you either are or you aren't.*nods*
for some vampires i know, drinking there own blood is a mental thing to trick themselves into thinking they have fed... never worked for me though.

and by the by anyone here ever tried to have back up blood, and if so, does it do anything for you.

I just wanted to say that biting the neck isn't just unsanitary; it could be downright deadly if you bite in the wrong place and too deeply.
Hey guys, quick question...

I'm chatting with a friend of mine who says her friend (whose cousin is in a nearby vampire coven) gave her a sort of "blood pill". She says it tasted horrible and didn't even really taste like blood but says the vampires there use it as a blood substitute. Anyone have any idea what this "blood substitute" might be? It sounds rather interesting, but she said it burned her throat and it still burns now.

Any ideas what it might be..?

Not aware of such a pill.
As far as I know, there isn't any substitute for blood. Just distractions.

She didn't think to ask what was in it before taking?
No wonder her throat hurts...
It actually is a true thing I believe vampires are real and if you don't believe me then your just crazy because they are real and i know it by fact. They just aren't like the ones in the movies they tend to drink blood all the time. They're called cannibals.
