Welcome to Gaia's forums, where millions of members gather to discuss random stuff, make new friends,
complain about life, argue about nothing, laugh at dumb pictures, discuss serious issues and/or curse like sailors.

Lurking is creepy. Quit skulking in the shadows and join the conversation!

I'm a proud Bi-sexual, Pagan, and Witch.

And one day, I'll be teaching your kids.
Scary thought, yeah?

Has anyone looked into or even read Vampires Today: The Truth About Modern Vampirism by Joseph Laycock yet?

I'm hearing very good things about it lately from within the community, mostly because of how the author actually went about it like a scholar rather than using armchair researching and pseudo-intellectual psychobabble.

I, myself, have a lot on my reading list currently, so I may never get around to reading it. That combined with my growing distance from the community means I may never read it.

Can't say that I have but it is certainly one that I'm trying to get my hands on.

。 • ゚ "I fail to understand this mindset. . . Blood has a taste. People will like it, for that reason. As morbid as that may sound to people. I don't believe it makes you special or should define your whole lifestyle. Besides vampires actually came from an ancient Hindu myth//story."

Oh Jesus Christ, shut up.

I'm going to put it on hold at my local library...hopefully they will get it soon.

Also, they used the results from the VEWRS and AVEWRS surveys.

Let me tell you about the birds and the bees
and the flowers and the trees.
The moon and the stars...
And a thing called love.
You know, it's most funny that these trolls are all n00bs too. Either n00bs, or people who don't want their main accounts to be banned so use mule accounts.
Face it guys, the trolls are out of ammo and scared now of losing their accounts because all they can come up with is opinionated "But this is a myth!" s**t. XD

The funniest ones are the ones that try to make sense of their argument using myth, despite us stating in the first post the differences.

Rena, ban this sad sack of a Gaian. It'll be worth the luls.
