I'm not going to read all pages in the thread, I'm just too lazy. Has anyone brought up porphyria?

Yes they have, many times, and this has nothing to do with it.

Also, we are not here to compensate for your laziness.

Don't be so crude guys, at least she bothered to ask as opposed to just shoving it our face again.

Excuse me for not feeling the need to read 1663 pages of childish squabling... I read the first 10 or so and wanted to move on. Oh and excuse me for studying vampireism since I was 10... 16 years now - and having experience with people who have prophyria.

So please explain to me... how does a disease which has most of the symptoms of being a vampire... have nothing to do with this thread?

Has all logic been thrown out the door in favor of mindless open-mindedness? That's just as bad as being closed minded.
Oh, Renacide and Roman Marius, thank you for for being nice biggrin I meant no disrespect and never expected anyone to insult me for a simple question... it is just another way to explain the odd past of the vampire...

Beyond the more... recent vampire labels, back to the crazy theories of the past... everything has to begin somewhere.

Well, it's not 1663 pages of childish squabling, there has been legitimate discussions going on through out this thread.

Rudeness aside, considering we have discussed the disease, and most of us have been tested for it, that would be how it doesn't relate to this thread. We do not currently suffer from any known medical ailments. Which is why the line about reasons yet to be explained by science is in the initial post. Prophyria would be an explanation by science. It's great knowing that you've been studying vampirism for so long, but I think it falls short when it comes to living it with.

this.
i know for the ones in here that have kids have taken many testings during pregnancy.
Nice thread. I only have one question; Have you considered Magik? theres too many pages for me to look through in one day.
I for one dont believe in vampirism. About 90% of all people who I have met in person and on the net are obviously delusional. Ive even went out in the West Village in NYC to meet some of these supposed vampires. Most of em were dissatisfied teens and people who had nothing else to do but play dress up, wear fake fangs, and drink blood because they claim they cant live without it and would die. There is no use trying to break vampirism down into some sort of scientific reasoning. The other 10% are people who I believe dablle in the dark arts sort of s**t. They hold ritualistic takings of blood and all other kinds of weird crap. I once saw a documentary where(scientifically proven) these people's aura's started to rise and others started to lessen because of psi feeding. Like I said however, these people dont claim to need it. They just want it for their own weird twisted thinkings. But, for the rest of em, just take the black clothes, vampire novels and anime, and within a few weeks theyll be the same loser hipsters they used to be.

It's not really laziness. Who the hell wants to read a thousand pages and almost a half again looking for something?

Considered it in which aspect? As something to do or as a substitute to blood?

(Either way yes I have)

(Why do people use such weird spellings for magic..I know it's to distuinguish stage magic from occult magic but for ******** sake why so many? Magic, magik, magick, majik even... Can't people stick to one? Rant over)

I think you missed the one, where the shows the same photography, where the people did claime they need it.
I love when people bring up porphyria.

But I hate having to remind them that porphyria is not only rare, it's nearly always fatal. People who live with porphyria can die from a bad bruise or a nasty cut. I doubt any of us has porphyria and haven't noticed it. That's like saying 'Oh, I've had this tail -all- this time!" OMGZ!
