I know what you mean, we had one very open minded pagan flame the living heck out of this thread when it was created. The user concerned is open minded to energy working and energy manipulation but won't hear anything about Psi or Sang vampirism, even when by their reasoning and belief Psi vampirism is possible. Its a funny old world we live in. One thing I find ironic (well certainly within the pagan circles I hang about in in reality) is that its the elders of the commmunity who are more accepting and those that lean more towards shamanic paths ans the worst offenders are younger members of wiccan traditions. Just my experiences though doesn't mean to say its the same eveywhere.

I've noticed that about many Wiccans. Some seem very desperate to fit in and be 'mainstream', so much so that thier focus is often all about how they aren't like THOSE pagans over there..."the bad nasty ones who probably, like, sacrifice goats and rape babies and stuff like that". Criminey! Yes, I KNOW that's just SOME, not ALL. But I do get weary of it.

This I'm not sure of.
This is why the person who awakened me, is going to awaken the child at birth.
I don't want something to happen and then they show signs out of nowhere. That, and it'll be easier just incase.

oh yes.
i think most of us are.
with me; i was told i should and so i did.
i wasnt sure about what happened for months, but then i was told what had happened.

Very much so. Awakening is usually triggered by an event, and not necesarily a huge event. Time is just a factor that humans become obsessed with.

Also, contrary to what the first post might say, I believe that anybody can awaken.

Going through awakening can be described as lifting a veil. It's just you becoming more aware of the world around you on a different level.

That's my opinion anyway, along with a fraction of the vampire community whom I've contacted.

awakening is simply becoming aware. aware of your surroundings, aware of what you are etc.

This is very complicated. Even vampires don't know in full why they actually need to feed ( the majority I know of).

It's true that some people need to feed more or less than others. Depending on how much you need to feed the symptoms may vary. But people who are not awakened usually take energy from those around them anyway. It's how we're able to survive. But this can hurt others, so alot of vampires try form shields and/or filters to try and keep the feeding to a minimum.

i did this to stop my psi feeding for a while, because at the time i couldn't controle it, but i knew how to block it.

you know how when you wake in the morning and you are aware of your bed, pillow, blankets, the warmth, etc. now if you think on those objects you become more aware of their thread, the softness, the flakes of skin on your sheets, bed bugs....etc. it's like that. it's an exploration and understanding and...awarness of yourself.
