Actually, most of the real vampires I know are in thier 30's or more. I'm 54.

Agreed smile But for some reason according to the masses we are all aged between 13 and 17 and read nothing by Anne Rice and Twlight books.

Heh.. I was reported for defending otherkin and vampires in a wiccan/pagan thread here on gaia. But it wasn't "factual". I thought it was hilarious. There is no reason to have such behavior. Especially with people who are supposedly open minded.

This is why I generally stay away from the wiccan / pagan community when talking about otherkin or vampires. It's funny how open minded they are not when discussion of that nature comes up. But I'm also generally not liked in the pagan community due to my own ideas and practices. I found it's similiar to when indigo children are discussed within the otherkin community.

Of course there are always exceptions, but my personal experiances have not been that great.

I know what you mean, we had one very open minded pagan flame the living heck out of this thread when it was created. The user concerned is open minded to energy working and energy manipulation but won't hear anything about Psi or Sang vampirism, even when by their reasoning and belief Psi vampirism is possible. Its a funny old world we live in. One thing I find ironic (well certainly within the pagan circles I hang about in in reality) is that its the elders of the commmunity who are more accepting and those that lean more towards shamanic paths ans the worst offenders are younger members of wiccan traditions. Just my experiences though doesn't mean to say its the same eveywhere.
