I disagree with the term "vampire". Simply because you don't fit the definition. If you're not undead, then you're not a vampire, sorry. And I read the OP, saying that the term has "just stuck" and so you can't get rid of it. Newsflash: yes, you can. Choose a more accurate term - blood/energy feeder, "bloodist" like that woman at Vampiric Studies uses, or even sanguisuga, if you want to be fancy. Choose a term, and start using it - rather than just saying "oh, we can't do that, the community calls themselves vampires...blah blah". You too are part of the community, start changing stuff. At least be accurate. I suspect that there has been little effort to change the term used because vampires are "cool" and it attracts followers. |

We want to post here and have every reason to do so, we're trying to run this little thread as a support thread for the psis and sangs out there. So by your defintition, vampire bats and darwin finches are undead bats and undead birds because vampires have to be undead.... Personally I use the terms sanguine and psion but not everyone does, sanguivore is another term in use but not many people like using it. |

Not the best, but its got the basics. ^^ I do agree with about 70% of what was written down, however I really do not favor those links. but that's just me. You really should add a section for safety. Some people might be reading this and go '=D that's cool I want to try it!' and end up really hurting someone. Like those suppose vampires in the article whats her face (forgot the username) posted. I have read the thread. There are a lot of people who actually don't agree with this way of life. However we aren't accepted right now because we are different. I say let them believe what they want and let them be. Anyways, topic lurker. And friend, If you want me to be. Reidon~ |

I dont care what people say I think that vampirism is real or at least its possible.
I mean I think maybe its more scientific then like mystical, like maybe some DNA can be mixed around to evolve a person to make them that way, or posibly like I said before when we are inside our moms we feed of her blood for nurishment can it be possible maybe (for vampires who drink blood) to keep having that thing like a symptom? Like a type of illness that maybe can cause an infant to keep needing blood for its groth and development instead of milk? But I just must be crazy I guess... >.< |

I have been working about the house all day today and its really draining. Especially when those around you do a rather shitty job of 'cleaning house'. And thanks for the welcome.
