So if you were a psi how would you start off with your awakening? Like...just randomly draining people's energy? That'd be odd.

I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that.....where's the nearest Psion when you need them....

You shouldn't rely on other people for a personal journey...

At least others can offer an insight into what the awakening process was like for them. Sharing the experience you had with others going through it can sometimes make them feel more at ease. Just my veiw on that subject though.

Oh ya, I'm all for comparisons. I just hate it when somebody says 'this is definitly true, because I say it."

I know the feeling. I've seen more than a few people like that in many aspects of life....I'm probably even guilty of it myself at times.

I don't drink blood... I can satisfy my needs through a less (potentially) harmful way.

Not so say that it's wrong, but people should try to use safety if they want to partake in the drinking of blood.

Oh yes. That wasn't the issue.
Those who do partake in drinking blood do it responsibly, with donor consent.
Which include blood tests for the donor in question. Hence the term "Donor with papers". Heh. rofl

But I'm sure there's those few who don't check first, and that's what makes me worry.

And if they get AIDS from it, that's their own fault isn't it? It's like getting pregnant with unprotected sex.

But what Vox said before: Some do not have the ability to feed psychically on energies around them. Some people are just wired differently.
It's great when a Sang learns to psi feed, but in the end their bodies are wired for blood, for one reason or another. Just like how many PSI vampires cannot stomach blood.

*lurks* Just to say I'm still here and reading feel free to fire questions in my direction if you want.

Agreed smile But for some reason according to the masses we are all aged between 13 and 17 and read nothing by Anne Rice and Twlight books.

Anyway Welcome to the thread Lizabat.

I think everybody should experiment with something instead of just believing the first person that writes it on a site. You can use what they say as a guideline, but please don't take everything someone says as truth.

Stop "living"

Alo alo. Been lurking, but there's never anything to say. . . I feel so useless, and siding with "skeptics" seems like such a waste of time because they're all daft and/or childish. gonk

On that note, might I add that I started reading Anne Rice after I discovered I was a vampire. And why should I be judged for it? I shouldn't that's right.....*get's defensive*

92% of teens would die if Abercrombie & Fitch told them it wasn't cool to breathe, post this in your sig if you would be one of the 8% laughing your a** off.

This is true.
Probably because most of the younger ones 'fall off' the band wagon after they realize what they really are, and aren't. Grow up, have families "forget" what they thought they were.
Real vampires can't forget. It's an on going thing. It's who they are. What they are.

I know what you need.
This will really work.
In ancient times, if you were sick
They make you bleed.
Oh, honey I know it hurts.
