First off, these threads are NOT ALLOWED on the LI. And there's a good reason - it scares and upsets good, caring people who just want to help.
I've seen these threads plenty of times. OP asks for a reason not to kill himself. People generally tell him he's a selfish p***k. Then, there's some kind, lovely, well-meaning souls who type out heartfelt paragraphs on why OP shouldn't kill himself, say they'll talk to him if he wants, etc. etc. How do you reward these people?
Oh, by debating them and telling them "Oh well, THAT's not a good reason because of x" and just generally being ridiculously contrary.
I'll tell you what you want. You want someone to care enough to try and convince you, even through all your negativity, that you shouldn't kill yourself. You want people to ask about, and to actually CARE about, your life circumstances and your problems. You want to make it known what you go through day-to-day, and you want these things to be acknowledged.
Why do you have to accomplish this by scaring and upsetting people? Do you realize that there are people on this thread who actually DO care, and who would feel like they'd personally failed if you DID off yourself? It's not enough to hurt yourself, you just have to take everyone in sight down with you.
Here's a solution - delete this thread and start over. Instead of "I'm going to kill myself right now, try and stop me," make a new thread. Explain how you're feeling and why, and that you really need people to talk to. And when people take valuable time out of their lives to help you, shut up and LISTEN, and try to at least consider taking their advice.
