Worst anime ever?

Personally I've only found a few that truly deserved to be low on the list.

Green Green. I've seen some pretty bad high school romantic anime, but that had to be one of the worst I've ever seen. It exists for only one purpose, fan service. Its teenage porn.

My second entry is more of an opinion than anything else. I about cried from the pain of watching ARIA. It’s a beautiful anime, but no about of visuals can prepare you for the thrill of tour guiding. This anime tries too hard to build up suspense and mystery... only to splash water on your hopes by watching an airhead of a girl try to give a tour of some SciFi version of Venice. And even through its set on another planet it looks exactly like the original Venice.
I always thought Reign was the worst anime ever, but to each their own.
Okay, first of all, for all you Bobobo haters: he's got freaking ten-foot-long nose hairs!! How ******** badass is that! xD
Also, I did not list fanservice or hentai because I do not consider them to be anime.

5. Pokemon
While highly entertaining, the series is almost entirely made up of fillers.

4. Duel Masters
A show about a card game? please...Not to mention the game's a complete rip-off of Magic: the Gathering.

3. Yu-gi-oh! and related series
Again, a show about a card game; however, they incorporated the whole Egyptian mythology part which made it slightly less retarded despite its historical flaws. (GX is by far the worst anime ever, but for the purposes of my list I'll group it with the original.)

2. Dragonball Z and GT
Umm, this one kind of speaks for itself: they should have stopped after the first Dragonball. The power levels kept rising, the enemies kept getting more and more fagtarded(c), and the whole concept of martial arts that made the original Dragonball cool all but disappeared. Furthermore, after the Frieza Saga, the series completely stopped having anything to do with the Dragonballs for which the series is named. That's like killing Harry Potter too soon. Not to mention the whole Namekian Dragonballs fiasco.

1. One Piece
Oh, god. Where do I start...um. I'll just list its flaws in a rant-like fashion.
Horrible animation, sucky-a** plot even before they completely forgot about it, stupid magical fruit that make everyone super-human (kinda makes you wonder why people don't want to eat them), and the dubs are annoying as all hell or worse.
Other than all this, the show makes you hate it. It just happens like a subliminal transmission that brain-washes you to despise this abomination that some talentless loser puked up.

@imnotspiderfro: That thing about epilepsy is bullshit.
heh, theres's so much mixed reviews, inuyasha started out good, (same creater and ramna 1/2, very good sereis) but then it dragged on, as for bobobo bo bo bobo, it's funny in its own way, an average anime.

the worst i've seen is saint aquarion, all fighting with too little storyline,

there are others out there too, but can't seem to remember them well, guess i'll post them when i remember it
sailor moon is a good anime
5: Inyuyasha
You're right, there's no point-- just villain slipping away every single time.

4: Bobobo bo bobobo
Scary.

3: One Peice
The story is OK but the art style is just so messy...

2: Pokemon
It gives children seizures.

1: Sailor Moon
It's a classic. I think you just hate shojo. D<
I'd like to add on to my former comment, but one more toward the thread. I find it kind of wrong that people are dissing Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball. Sailor Moon is typically a classic, and it's far from bad if anything. Sure it ain't the most original thing, but it was extraordinary for its time. Dragon Ball on the other hand, I can agree GT was kind of too much. It was still a godly series nonetheless. Without it, you wouldn't have a good amount of the currently popular shounen out right now. It still retains much of its popularity, only truly beaten by One Piece, which is also discriminated for its art style.

:: I usually don't hate anime, but in the case of Inuyasha and Naruto, I just want to claw at my eyes every time I see them on TV.

******** is just to random for me. I wouldn't say it's the worst anime ever, I'm just not fond of it.

Sailor Moon I actually agree with you on. There's really not much wrong with it. It's just repetitive, which can be said for a lot of anime these days.
Dragonball the original was ******** amazing. Creative, hard-hitting, well written. But then it got to Dragonball Z. Dragonball Z just went too far. After the Frieza Saga it just got dumb. It pretty much stopped having anything to do with the Dragonballs (though the plot made sense and avoided being severely repetitive, it's just kind of dumb to stop including the thing the anime is named after permanently) and everyone got way too powerful. I won't even talk about GT. It was just too bad for words.
One Piece...hmm. In the immortal words of Mandy,"The road to stupid is paved with good intentions." 'Nuff said.
oh yeah, dbz was the anime that actually created the concept of powering up, notice how goku and gohan charge up? that kinda thing.
They were technically the first to create a interesting fighting gerne.

sailor moon was pretty good back then, many guys (me included) watched every single episode of it. though a bit cheesy when i think back it was pretty good story.
i dont think i have 5 . but to me the worst series was the street fighter one the animation is so bad and same with the voice acting , ugh , cant think of any more off the top of my head
5. Fullmetal Alchemist. Boring, annoying characters, the worst point is really the characters. To begin with, the main character is an angsty annoying brat with an annoying personnality, it's supposed to be attaching, but I don't think it is, I just think it's annoying, nothing more, nothing less. I think the only fairly good characters were Winry, Edward, and Hugues (who got killed by that crap of Envy, Envy is surely one of the crappiest character I've EVER seen).

4. Chobits Take all the gore and the action of Elfen Lied, turn it cheesy to the max, and puts more needless moments that will do nothing but bores the viewer, and what you get is chobits. Something boring, cheesy, and supposely meaningful. At least, Lucy/Nyu was an interesting character, what Chii failed at being.

3. Fushigi Yuugi. It's hilarous when the canon story is as bad as a mary sue crappy fanfiction.

2.Inuyasha It's incredible how Rumiko Takashi is able to make money with everything she does, she's not in the top 10 of the richest persons from Japan for nothing...anyway, that series was boring to no end. It's like if she bought a stereotype bag, and published it. Empty characters, predictable never ending story, boredom.

1.Naruto. I mean it, not only because it's popular, I knew it few years before it came in America. After watching the first five episodes of the anime, and the first five volumes of the manga, I realized one thing: I wasted my time. Annoying stereotypical characters, bad art style, a story that will be never ending, a series that will cause useless drama about its not even interesting plot events. Etc. Seriously...I'm happy to have stopped at only the fifth episode. That series gave me the feeling of being a desesperate housewife watching an afternoon soap. Bleh.

I'll agree that DBZ did go completely different from the Dragon Ball that it can pretty much be considered a complete different series. I also agree that at Frieza was when Dragon Ball truly ended, but I can't help but just love the Cell Saga for some reason. One Piece is really just a love/hate thing.
