I think people need to for cereal get over this status bar thing. It's really not that bad.

It is if you had a bunch of premades and commissions out. emo And now my profile has lost 50% coolness value since the animations don't work anymore. gonk

I'm doing a new commission now, so I can incorporate it with my new commission. But it's not like I'm going to go back to all of my old commissions and change it. Especially my Tektek profiles; it's impossible to go back and change those.

Wow, this profile is simply extrordinary!!!
I love the effects, yet it seems sort of plain in a way...
You see, in the center area is seems sort of dull, although its supposed to be a desktop type layout, and some of the effects cover the center, it still looks lonely and plain.
Maybe you should put a more interesting background for the "desktop."
Something with color, or it could be darker and more black and white.
Maybe make a pattern of some sort, or get a nice picture and place it there to give it more feeling and mood.
Although the image IS beautiful, its just too plain.
Was this profile for Earth day? (sorry if it wasn't xDD)
Maybe you can put an animal there or like something with the environment thats more "Wow!" and "Ooooh!!!!".
But other then that fact it is actually very nicely done, but for some weird reason when i try to click on "car" or "friends" it doesn't work, it doesn't load. : [
You might want to get that one fixed, somehow.

I was thinking of trying to get the house, car and a copy of my Avi on the desktop, kinda like on the "My Gaia" page. I just dont want to go through all that work, only to have the flash overtake the rest of the profile, since I dont believe the layering works for any inserted profile flash. (Or did they change the transparency property?)

No, this profile is around six months old, so not intended for earth day. Though the background image works nicely with that theme. xD

I'm not sure what I can put in the middle. The background isnt mine, so I cant edit it. Only reason I can use any of the images is because they are publicly available under the proper licenses. I suppose some type of gadget, but it would have to be image and CSS based to keep the flash overlay issue from happening...

A less taxing question: What about using the status bar stuff to create a system tray icon for MSN or something, and when you click it, you have the add/ignore/etc options? Could include guilds, store, website, etc. (Oh god, a custom section using old style custom sections and links! But I think I would be interested enough to wade through the pain. xD)

That might just work (having issues with my OWN status bar xDD)
I have a few suggestions for a background.
1. An animal of some sort
2. A vehicle or gadget (?)
3. A piece of artwork like....avi art or something else (??)
4. Ermmm, a nice set of brushes placed in different ways to make a piece of elegance brought to the profile. <333 (???)

I really hate people like that, and yes I told him off. Either remove it, or PM Seiorai for her permission to edit the whole layout and giver her credit instead of claiming the whole damn thing as his own. That is 2 ppl now that stole her profiles and edited them in some way. I feel bad for her.

People take and illegally reuse profiles all the time. You can report that specific user since he still has some of SeiSei's images on it. You can't report stolen code, but you can report stolen images. That's how I got a bunch of people who started remaking my premades. xd

Person removed and place profile to private vewing, after giving me a pissy remark with poor grammer and spelling. I lol at the fact he said that on where ever he got Sai's profile that people can change it. I only know 2 places and neither said anything about changing anything. Next time I will report on the spot without giving warnings.
