I LOVE that quote! When I first saw that episode, I actually smacked my forehead when he said that. whee Sokka has so many funny lines.

Sokka: "So when do I get something to eat?"
Katara: "You're one of the first outsiders to ever visit an airbender's temple, and all you can think about is food?"
Sokka: "I'm a simple guy with simple needs."

That's totally something I'd do.
And speaking of things I'd do, you know in that same episode, when Iroh knocks down all those spears? I'd totally do that too. I'm such a klutz! 3nodding

How do you say the Flying Monkies name, or is it a monkey? (sorry alittle confused on some of them) Moo Moo?

And Appa is cool mrgreen

They aren't flying monkeys. They're hog monkeys. They're mentioned three times in the entire series. First, in "The Waterbending Scroll" when the pirate captain says "Bleeding hog monkeys!", second, in "Jet" when Jet says "I got particular joy (or something like that) from one firebender's face when The Dupe dropped down on his head and rode him like a wild hog monkey.", and third, in "The Storm", when the old man says "Well I'll be a hog monkey's uncle!".

I think I've officially shown-off my freakish obssession.

Actually, he's a lemur. The Pirate said he'd trade something for his lemur. Don't remember exactly what he said, but it was close to that. And I think his name is spelled Momo, which is also the Japanese word for peach. Imagine that. O.o

Everyone, say who your favorite character is and why!

Favorite character: Zuko!!!

Why: I find his past very interesting. I used to not like him, but after the Agni Kai in episode three "The Southern Air Temple", I began to think he's pretty cool. As the season progressed, I grew more and more obsessed with him. Pretty soon, I was into fanfiction and pairing Zuko off with an OC (overused, but who cares). I then began trying to guess his past. When I saw the commercial for "The Storm", I pretty much squealed a whole lot, ran throughout my house, jumped up and down on my bed, and called my best friend to rant to her about it. I'm pretty much obsessed with Zuko and I am totally for him catching Aang and gaining everything back! 3nodding

you remind me of my friend when she saw jet she ran all around in my house then she started drooling after that she began shaking me then she began yelling about how much she likes him and why did he have to to be mean

Oh, I thought that guy was talking about hog monkeys when he said "flying monkey". Of course I know Momo's a winged lemur. And I already knew Momo was japanese for peach. Aang called Momo, well, "Momo" because Momo grabbed a peach out of Sokka's hand when Aang was deciding what to name him.

I don't think there really is such thing as an "imitation anime" if it's done in the anime style, it's anime. Whether it was made in Japan or not
