Since our thread has pretty much gotten to its 1000th page and beyond, I guess we can call it the official Avatar thread now. wink

RULES/POLICIES:

Come on and chat if you want to. Just try to keep a good sense of grammar and spelling. Nobody likes it when someone comes on and says something like "omg zucko is the gr8test evar!!!". Literacy. Please.

Please don't come on saying it's stupid or it sucks. If you don't like it, then why are you bothering to post anyway? I know that if I hated a show, I wouldn't go anywhere near a thread for it. But if for some reason you do wish to post about not liking it, please do so with some actual evidence for not liking it instead of saying "I really don't like this show." (Seriously, how pointless is it to come on and say that, then leave?) And please don't come on saying it's "mock/poser" anime. We've been down that road more than enough times.

Please don't go spamming our thread either. That's what the chatterbox is for.

PLEASE RESPECT SHIPPINGS!! If you can't stand one of the many shippings in Avatar, please show respect to the shippers of that certain pairing. We may hate your pairing, but we'll at least be respectful to you. So please, return that respect. Also, if you don't like a certain shipping, and you would like to express so, then please have good reasoning that doesn't include biting everyone's head off. That means no cussing other shippers out just because they like a different ship. If you want to debate shippings, please do so in a mature way and give facts to support everything. No one likes rabid shippers.

And if you have any spoilers, then please set the text color to white so the people who don't want to see the spoilers won't read them and so the people who do want to see the spoilers can highlight it.

I love Avatar. I've watched like every episode at least 3 times each... I suppose I have no life, but ah well, I am happy on the inside razz

And besides, heart Sokka heart is just too damn cute to NOT watch (he has the BEST lines in that show, hahhah)

I do like it!!! I have seen about 9 episodes so far. I was surprised at first when I heard it was coming to Nick, instead of Cartoon Network but I guess it worked out for the best. mrgreen

I'd have to say I'm mega-obsessed with this show. I was into it even before it first aired, when I saw an ad for it in Nickelodeon magazine. I've been hooked on it since the first episode and I've introduced four people to it as well. I also have a fanfiction.net story titled "Curiosity Killed the Cat". I've seen each of the episodes so many times, I've lost count. If you have any questions about the show, just ask me! 3nodding

Iroh does have some pretty funny lines, lol. That whole pirate episode was great: "Zuko, you're going to love this; it was in my sleeve the whole time!" rofl

If I lived in the Avatar world, I'd wanna be a firebender.

Why:
Firebenders can shoot fire - not just from their hand - from their feet, mouths, and noses. That's the niftiest thing ever 3nodding

Cons:
I love water. I don't like the fact that the Fire Nation is trying to take over the world and killed off all the airbenders.
