I kinda like the song, but no way is it country.
Taylor Swift is not, has never been and never will be country.

A lot of country music in the last decade has been dabbling in pop. I don't really try and measure it anymore, but even if the pop is quite strong in her music and songs, it's easy to detect the country music style current running through. I rather like the blend. smile

When people say Taylor sucks but have never listened to her first album. neutral
She was country then, you can definitely hear the other influences from country artists in those songs. She's changing her music style as she's growing, which isn't a bad thing. However, WANEGBT os not country. There's a 'country' version of it too, but still not the way she used to be. Begin Again, however, is so far a nod to her previous albums, since none of us now what other types of songs she'll have on it.
