For those who don't know me (I'm doing the same as Kayla ha) I am Michele, or desperate or Shell (I don't think I said my real name in the other thread ha). I am currently married to the greatest husband (yea biased I know), Chris his his name. We are TTC. So obviously no kids yet, but I hope to help as much as possible. =D

As to the tattoo thing. When my children get old enough to write their name, I'm gunna have them do that then have that tattooed on me with prob some stars around it or something.

I have a tattoo started for Aden. It's going to be huge, if it's ever finished... but it's... not even close... ha ha.


I guess I should introduce myself properly too! I'm Kayla too (you can call me that if you want, or Petit, for no confusion) and I have an almost-14 month old son named Aden. I'm too lazy to post a picture of him at the moment, but I'm sure I will later. I'm 20, and I got pregnant when I was 18 (yes, a whoops baby). He's the best thing to ever happen to me, though, and I'm glad the whoops moment happened!


Anywho, we just got back from Aden's swimming lessons a bit ago. It was crazy there. An elementary school was there, so... yeah. Crazy. He enjoyed it again, though, so that's good. But he's so clingy! When I try to lay him on his back to do a back float thing, he just sits up and wraps his legs around me again. Ha ha oh my clingy boy.

I'm not a supermom, and never will be to anything other than my pets.
But my mom is a supermom. I have no idea how she's done it, but I can't think of a better person to call mom. She's my life.
My upstairs neighbor; not a supermom. It's pretty obvious she was pressured into having her kid and has no clue what to do. Thank goodness a daddy-figure is there, because the kid was a wild mess. She still throws tantrums and stomps and whines, but at least one of them is playing with her and scolding her.

I'm Kim. I'm 24 and have been married to my wonderful husband for 2 and a half years. We have a 7-month-old daughter named Dani Michelle. Pregnancy and motherhood has been a rough road for me. I have been diagnosed with Postpartum Depression (PPD), but after starting medication my symptoms have drastically improved. I encourage anyone who is feeling depressed and miserable in the months after the birth of their child to PLEASE speak to a doctor ASAP! I'm a pretty "crunchy" type so if anybody needs some info on sewing, crafting, babywearing, cloth diapering, co-sleeping, etc...please feel free to ask! biggrin
