I'd say this should be made a sticky, but... as soon as it is, everyone will ignore it. I mean, everyone who needs to know the things inside. Can we have some rule? Like... the mods delete threads that have been bumped eleventy-billion times?

Edit: In light of a post I just saw... could you add "don't grub for sympathy" up there? --; I think my IQ went down just having READ this post.

I agree. I'm tired of people saying things like "OMG DEY SED MY CHARRY WAS A MARY SUE!!!!111&& NO IM GUNNA GO SLIT MY RISTS!" so people will spike their criticism with sugar and MSG. That's not how you become a better writer.
