"Yeah... I think... I have an idea of how it works." Jace said shyly as Lucien inspected his arm and had his suspicions confirmed, it was something common on high ranking Nith... then he really was a... Shadowsili... The youth snapped back to reality at Lucien's quiet words of thanks, his gray eyes were dazed for a moment before they squinted to try and hide the gratitude inside them. "I'm... I'm happy to help mister." Jace couldn't help but let a smile touch his face as he looked past Lucien and Trill into the distance where the obscuring fog surrounded the apocalyptic construct of the World Eater Tower, he might be a monster but he was a monster with a purpose.
That was when Jace noticed the small black shapes in the horizon, blending in with the gloomy fog of the morning and the darkness brought by the Nith's devices; rapidly they approached and in a moment of horror he realized what they were. "EVERYONE! LO- !" His voice was cut off by the impact of several projectiles comprised of Nith energy across the camps causing a wave of explosions to tear through the camp, causing blackened craters in the sand, demolishing makeshift tents and defenses and cutting off screams of alarm with a deadly silence. Within an instant everything on the tranquil shoreline of Aedif, where the gentle lapping of the waves was even audible, erupted into total chaos.

"Listen up weaklings !!" The shout could be heard above the roar of the camp as the defenders on the shore scrambled across the already bloodied sand to occupy their positions across the demolished camp. Heads were raised through the blinding smoke, debris and darkness blanketing the camp, partially to listen to what the voice from above had to say but also out of curiosity as to why the Nith didn't fire a second barrage upon them. The upturned faces of the Keepers and Militia turned to grim masks of determination or cracked to reveal despair and shock at what they saw, the Nith didn't even need the World Eater Tower. There were so many of them that they could block out the sky with just their numbers, hundreds upon thousands of airborne Ravagers, Harbingers, Syphons and Regenerators filled the air with their incessant keening joined by a clashing symphony of terrible roars as a great cloud of Regenerators and Syphons detached themselves and piled into the shore below forming into inky legions of earthbound Nith.
"T-theres... s-so many!" Despairing cries filled the air as many inexperienced Keepers, Militia and recruits alike felt the courage race out of their body and leave them with a shaking husk that wouldn't obey even the most basic of their own orders. "Hah! This is the best that the Collective's Guardians can do!? I thought Keepers were going to be a challenge but, they're already shitting themselves before we've even begun !!" And if the seemingly endless horde of Nith weren't enough, with their twisted auras visibly displayed to leave no doubt about who they were, a group of Shadowsili joined the Nith; among them was the man who had shouted at the Keepers. The man alone had an aura that could be mistaken for the aura signature of a cruiser class Worldship, his terrifying eyes scanning the infinitely smaller enemy force for something as his overwhelming aura beat down upon them, causing some defenders to fall to their knees out of the sheer pressure exerted by the pulses of his aura.
"Bah... Not a single one of you look like you could last more than five seconds! I'd rather fight your captain but he can't do that right now..." The second comment extracted several angry cries out of the Keeper's force, terrified they might be, this was their captain and they felt close to Hale despite his strange methods and the fact that they had only known him for a little while; the determination he displayed during their entrance into Vectiras was enough to win him their loyalty. "For once, you're right Juriza. They're all weak, and weakness is a flaw... Every last one of them will be reborn without flaw... Angel, Lance. Find him." Two other smaller Shadowsilis, each standing upon a disk of Nith energy, nodded in reply to the taller blond masked Shadowsili's order and descended to the shore along with the Nith while three of their brethren, the Shadowsili from earlier with the overwhelming aura, a black haired Shadowsili with an air of calm and composure that watched wordlessly with it's arms folded and the sinister blond man who seemed to be their leader.

A roar of defiance rose up from the ranks of the Keepers, their battered uniforms standing out against the billowing smoke caused by the initial attack of the Nith, and Militia, their eyes determined to avenge their fallen comrades, along with the people of Aedif who had volunteered to help, their life energy blazing to protect the world that they called home, forming a coalition that showed they wouldn't allow the Nith an easy victory as the darkness of the shore was lit up with the blaze of aura as Nexuses were activated (for the first time for many) and battle cries filled the air.
"My my. I'm not used to crowds..." said Joshua, the tall keeper's aura mixing with the auras of the defenders standing with him, their shining auras creating a dazzling light that seemed to illuminate the shore and a good portion of Aedif itself with the light of day but infinitely more beautiful as it stood out in the stark darkness of fog that strangled Vectiras. "... Ready young master? Your stage awaits little one." Joshua said with a calmness that helped relax the other fights around him, the reply came in the form of the ignition of an aura. A white cloak of flames was thrown back, it's seemingly infinite length fluttering in the wind, a shock of spiky white hair, one hand grasping the edge of a helmet which clamped over a determined but child-like face and the other; black and spiny raised into the air sending up a spiral of white aura energy that blazed like a bonfire among hundreds of small fires along the shore. Nobody noticed the little fox ears poking out from under the helmet but Joshua who turned to seething mass of darkness ahead with a unconcerned smile.
"Ready as I'll ever be."
Further down the shore at the back of the camp Jace ,and those around him at the time of the attack, emerged from a protective cocoon of white aura that faded away with the smoke and debris dust. His concerned eyes picked out the glow of his own aura down the shore instantly as it burned like a beacon among the various auras facing the main force of the Nith, "Good luck everyone." Mei... please be safe. the billowing of wind and the rapidly approached flap of wings told him that the time for worrying was over and now, it was his turn. Allowing the last of his visible aura to fade away and become inactive after it pulled up his uniform's hood over his head, Jace raised his hand and braced himself.
Barely warned by the rushing of wind, the Shadowsili yelped in surprise as his arm was almost jerked out of it's socket by a tail that grabbed it and ripped him from the earth and into the air, with a flick of it's powerful muscles, the beast owning the tail flung the boy bodily through the air and onto it's back where the draconian creature was being piloted... or rather directed by a Hyralvine bomber, the bomber's goggled eyes focused on the route ahead, not even bothering to look back to see if it's passenger was still intact. Leaning forward and hugging onto the saddle tightly, Jace squinted as the wind whipped at his eyes causing them to water, below them the water rushed by in a stream of blurred images for Jace, he let out a sigh of relief, which was quickly punched back into his throat by the wind, as he saw shadows on the water of other creatures similar to the one he was riding on.
Daring to crane his neck to the side to look sideways, the Shadowsili was glad to see that everyone had managed to make it, several Keepers and otherwise clung for dear life onto their respective mounts in a manner not unlike Jace as the small squadron of Hyralvine aerial beasts and their riders raced across the ocean using rolling clouds of smoke as cover and taking advantage of the distraction caused by the defenders onshore. Unfortunately, while the ploy might have worked against almost any other enemy, the Nith were far more attentive and cunning than that and noticed them quite quickly.
"Such foolishness. What do you hope to achieve by this meaningless act? Shoot them out of the air." Jace sensed a spike in Nith energy ahead, his watering eyes barely managing to make out several Harbingers in the air above them, their cannons filling with inky black energy. "Hold on tight kid." Jace gulped and did what he was told, clinging to the drake as it suddenly swerved, a blast striking the place where they were an instant ago, the splash erupting from the impact spraying all over them. Dancing through the air in an elaborate pattern of swivels, cockscrews, turns and reverses; Jace felt an exhilarating rush of adrenaline and terror pound through his body. A cry from behind them signaled the fall of one of the riders, "If you insist, then I will take matters in my own hands." in front of them, seemingly from the ocean rushed forth a tangle of living green attempting to wipe them out with vines, massive thorns and huge buds that devoured anything unfortunate enough to be caught in them.
"s**t! Hold on!" Jace said nothing, merely gripping the saddle and stomach of the drake even tighter as his bomber made an increasingly complex number of aerial maneuvers, the world becoming nothing but a blur of dizzying red, green and ocean blue to Jace. Despite his bomber's efforts however, the rushing vines moved faster than them and were now quickly gaining on them from behind, a small protrusion of one rushed past; slashing open a cut on Jace's cheek although he felt nothing as the pain was over-ridden by fear and adrenaline. More of them rushed out from behind, surrounding them but then something strange happened, they suddenly stopped as a creaking noise progressed along the vines behind them, turning his head slightly to look; Jace was shocked to see the great mass of killer greenery blanketed in a covering of frost and now withering away and fading into aura traceries.
Whipping his head around in the direction of an anguished cry, Jace's mouth went agape with amazement, rising on the side of the aerial squad and covering their flank was a gigantic tidal wave that was still rising, a surging wall of ocean water that deflected the attacks of the Harbingers and crashed into the pursuing group sending them tumbling into the ocean's roaring depths. From behind the fallen Harbingers, the two Shadowsili; the blond man and the dark haired came; borne on floating disks that covered the distance between them and the bombers with horrifying speed but before they could reach them, tendrils of water whipped out from the churning ocean freezing solid as they made impact with the disks and dragging them to a stop sending their owners tumbling forwards into the ocean where a wall of ice rose to their great frustration and to bar their way.
"Wow. Keepers really are something aren't they?" Jace blinked, a Keeper had done... all of that? Unable to reply without being suffocated by the rushing wind, the shadowsili nodded enthusiastically. A single person did... that? ... They really are amazing... He was snapped out of his hopeful thoughts by a cry up ahead as a crushing wave of aura sent crashing waves in all directions and nearly smashed Jace off his mount as it hit him almost like a solid object, at least two bombers lay in the water; crushed by the ocean waves or knocked off balance and sent spiraling into a crash by the immense pressure of the aura wave. Up ahead, standing in a depression in the water with his aura forcing the water away save for the water he stood upon, molded into place by aura pressure was the man who had caused the crushing wave of aura pressure; the Shadowsili Juriza Sanada along with a small battalion of wildly chattering Nobles and behind them, Ravagers with their beam weapons charging with energy aimed straight at the group. The wild and ragged Shadowsili grinned at them, his massive anchor weapon pointed at them in a challenge, "Hah! Thought you would slip away you cowards? Well then. Are any of you strong enough to be my opponent!?"
The smile wasn't going to last long.
Over the communications system, the bombers shouted almost simultaneously, "NOW !! Blast those Nith sky-high!" the sound waves relaying to Joshua who blazed with aura in the middle of battle, finishing off the Night facing him with a punch infused with aura that slammed into it's chest and blasted it into oblivion; the horned man spun around to Mattheis' location on the battlefield. "Young Hiashin! Now!" There was a split second pause and then, a deafening bang rang out across the battlefield.

[0:00] Shot of a massive Worldship sailing through the skies in beautiful blue sky weather with a few pure white clouds rushing by, a group of birds fly by, the camera follows them. [0:05] The birds fly by the worldship's deck where the main cast is standing, all looking forwards, the child characters all look amazed and are pointing ahead excitedly, a good portion of the younger cast are dressed in school uniforms and notably - Matt and Entropy looking quite awkward in them. [0:11] The camera zooms out, facing the direction that the Worldship is going in, to reveal the stunning sight of Vectiras Academy's landing towers ahead, the crew of the inbound Worldship all take on stunned expressions for the most part except for the experienced Keepers etc who have been to the Academy before. The crew of the Worldship cheer, jumping up and down etc.
[0:17] The camera looks to the Academy again, taking a sweeping shot of the magnificent sight as the words "Aura Heartz" appears onscreen, with "Academy Arc" in smaller font alongside it. [0:27]

► :: Entitlement is the word that probably sums up Kou the best at the moment, Kou is the kind of person who waits for the world to be handed to him on a silver platter and so far in his life; has been obliged. He seems charming enough and outgoing enough but the longer you're around him, the more obvious it is that Kou doesn't understand people. Just by looking at how Kou tries to "mix" with the "lower class" crowd shows this, trying to become someone else to fit in and be accepted.
Having lived a life where he got, and still continues to get, pretty much whatever he wants through wealth and status, Kou expects almost everything in the world to have a price so don't be surprised if he even offers to buy friendship from you. Literally. As a result of this though, Kou is incredibly stubborn when he sets his mind to something, manifesting itself as a powerful determination and ambition... unfortunately, this determination and ambition is never actually aimed at anything worthwhile making this powerful trait somewhat useless in the hands of a currently spoiled brat.

► :: Soloman Corporations, a multi-billion dollar organization and one of the primary investors of the NeoCity project. With a mother that died during childbirth despite all the money lavished on the event by a detached father, Takeshi Soloman, Kou entered a world of wealth and prestige as the heir to the corporation and, without Kou's knowledge even now, a far greater legacy... the legacy of the Arcanists. Growing up in NeoCity as it was being built, Kou found himself getting anything he wanted out of life, wealth and physical belongings were no problem and his immense pool of talents let him get through any challenges he faced in his childhood without having to break a sweat.
As he grew up, Kou never really had much proper interaction with anyone; not even his father. His father was always away on business or was always too busy, speaking to men in suits and important looking people whom his father seemed to try and protect him from. Other wealthy children still seemed different from him, many of the children of the suited men seemed to view him with fear and other strange emotions that alienated him from them, normal children were isolated from him due to his talents and wealth; he could never fit in with them nor did he feel the inclination to.
Strange and exciting things did happen in his life, but they were never explained to him by his father... who always seemed to be the one around when these events occurred; nor did his father seem to be too phased by these events so maybe they were nothing after-all. Living a somewhat content yet lonely life trapped within wealth and talent; Kou became the teenager he is today, leaving his luxury accommodation for NC-U.
And he has no idea that within a short span of time, his life will get a whole lot more interesting. After-all, when you're the son of one of the most powerful men in both the corporate and magical worlds; your life can stay ordinarily for only so long.

A golden band inlaid with the molten white engraving of the infinity symbol; the signet of the Soloman Corporation and Takeshi Soloman's Arcanist crest. The ring seems to only fit for Kou, and refuses to slip onto the finger of anyone save for Kou and Takeshi at the moment, although Kou does have trouble putting it on. The ring is usable as a key/password to the majority of systems and securities within the Soloman Corporation, i.e it is the key to Kou's apartment and computer as well as his father's mansion.

Despite the many negative qualities that Kou has inherited from his spoiled life, he has inherited one useful and unlikely quality, being so used to getting his way, Kou has become stubborn to the point where if beaten down or refused; his will and determination can burn to the point of achieving almost anything. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances of his life, Kou has never actually put this quality to any kind of good use yet; his willpower being used on the most petty of situations.

While lazy and unwilling to work hard for things, Kou seems to be blessed in almost every department except for the traits which would allow him to put such talents to use unfortunately; able to grasp things and learn them very quickly and gifted with a athletic ability despite having done almost nothing to obtain them. Most valued, yet unknown to Kou at the moment, is the blood of a Arcanist that runs through his veins, attuning him to Arcana naturally and allowing him to almost instinctively understand things concerning Arcana and the technology required to deal with them.

► :: Kou has the latent power of the Foolish Emperor within him, an unprecedented Arcana combination that possesses the power to adapt, change and synchronize with others as well as the majestic power to force, destroy and rule. This Arcane energy is characterized as being gold, white and red, focused on the power to rule objects, change them to the user's will and to destroy; for example, Kou is capable of using an Arcana possessing the power of fire to control and manipulate fire, enhancing it's properties by increasing it's temperature etc and even synchronize with the fire and rule over it so that it would be incapable of harming him but would be unable to create fire, as it is not in the Fool's domain nor the Emperor's domain to do so.

Sandra startles awake from a strange dream, to the sound of a cow mooing incessantly in her ear.
*Groan* She slammed her fist on the top of her alarm clock. "Urgh...."
Sandra crawled out of her makeshift bed on the couch, and slugged off to the bathroom. She looked herself over in the mirror, made a disgusted face, and started brushing her teeth. She thought back on all the times she spent in this house, playing with her sisters and brothers, fighting for the bathroom in the morning. Of course now her brothers were off doing their own thing, she missed them dearly. She came out of the bathroom, to smell the wonderful smell of bacon starting to fry in the pan.
“Morning Sandra! Did you do your chores already today?” Her mother asked as Sandra stepped into the kitchen.
“No Mom…” She grinned, and punched the air. “I’ll do it right now!”
Sandra hurried out the door, and ran all the way to the barn where her father was just letting the pregnant cows out to the pasture. He winked at her, and she went to muck out the stalls.
6:00am
The entire family, minus her brothers sat at the dinner table for a big family breakfast before sending off their eldest daughter to the city. Sandra was grateful for her big family; they always supported her in her decisions.
*Ding Ding* “ahem.” Her grandfather stood up. “ Seeing as how my granddaughter is setting out on a new big adventure today…. I have decided to give her this.” He opened his vet bag, and pulled out his stethoscope. “ To Remind you of why you are where you are, and to know that we will always be thinking about you.”
Sandra almost couldn’t hold back the tears in the corners of her eyes as her grandfather handed over to her his most prized possession. She hugged her grandfather for a long time, kissing his cheek, and then running upstairs to put it with her other belongings.
7:00am
Sandra took one last longing look at the room she existed in for the past 16 years. The sanctuary of her life was now devoid of love and life, having being drained of its contents the night before, leaving in its wake a few pieces of paper, and crumbs. She couldn’t keep everything though; her bed was given to her little sister Clarissa, along with a few other things like lamps.
I hope she doesn’t pee the bed at night!
Clarissa had few incidents now and then, but recently she’s been good about it. Don’t get Sandra wrong she loves her sis very much, but sometimes…
Turning from the door, she threw her medium length brown hair behind her back; it had cute sparkly barrettes in it today. Usually, she didn’t fuss much with her hair but today was special; it was the beginning of a grand adventure. She needed to make a lasting impression, or at least not a bad one!
*Honk. Honk*
…Sigh….
*HONK HOOOOOOOONK*
“ALRIGHT! I’m coming!” She yelled.
Sandra's parents had packed the SUV the night before, and were waiting for her in the car.
They must want me out of the house, bad! She shook her head, they were just crying about her leaving a few minutes ago.
She ran down the stairs, flew out the door, and hopped in the car.
“Did you lock the door Sweetheart?”
Sandra looked sheepishly at her mother. “Nooooo….”
She grinned, got out of the car, ran to the door opened it, locked it, shut it, and ran back.
AND SO THEY WERE OFF!
Sandra was cool, and did bring her iPod along for the ride, as living on the outskirts of the city it took some time to get to the centre. She hummed along with the songs, and fiddled with her necklace while losing herself in the clouds and farmland.
Sandra didn’t mind leaving her life behind, for something better. However, she had her doubts too, what happens if no one likes her?? What happens if her roommate snores?? She had thoughts like this for most of the trip, and then fell asleep for about an hour.
10:50am
About 3.5 hours later they pulled up to the entrance to NC-U. Its size compared to Sandra’s old school mesmerized her, the amount of people milling around, and running to classes. She started to get really excited…
*SCREEEEEECH!*
HOLY s**t WHAT WAS THAT???
Sandra barely had time to look out the window when a black limousine swerved around them nearly colliding with her family’s SUV, and came to a stop a few meters away, next to a bus full of fellow students.
GEEEZ, What was that guy’s problem?
Sandra's father cursed under his breath, they didn’t save and scrape all their lives for this truck if it was going to be ruined by some uncaring snob! He tended to exaggerate a bit when he was mad, because truthfully being one of the only Milking farms in NeoCity, they were pretty well off.
Sandra watched as a boy with Golden hair and a suit fit to receive a King was flung out of the limo.
Pshhh, what a snob.
Her father parked near the bus and princely car. Sandra flung open the door and slid out of the SUV her skirt and stockings slippery on the leather seats. Unfortunately for her, her foot got caught in between the car and the side step and she fell hard on the asphalt.
CRAP! Omgomgomgomgomg…. Did anyone see that??? She looked around, and raced for the back of the truck to assess the damage. There was a giant hole in her stocking now, over her knee.
COULD THIS DAY GET ANY WORSE?
And in fact it had, because several students coming off the bus were pointing and laughing at her. Sandra's face grew bright red, and then she shouted
“HEY YOU”VE NEVER SEEN A GIRL FALL BE FORE??”
She glared and pointed at them. At the sound and volume of her voice they scurried off almost tripping over themselves to get away.
“Sandra? Why do you have to scare all the students already? Can’t you be quiet for like one minute?” her little sister complained. Sandra rubbed Clarissa’s hair, and knocked her on the chin.
“Never little one, Never!” She laughed.

xxComing to a stop after he had put, what he believed to be, a good distance between himself and Robert, Kou gulped in air greedily feeling winded despite the fairly good condition his body was in - though what he did to earn that body, only god knows - a crackling sound brought his attention to one of the many intercoms scattered across the campus for announcement. "Attention to everyone on Campus. Please stay in your dorms and steer clear of the Kikai Aozora Park. There has been an accident, if you are in the Kikai Aozora area - please stay inside." Kou blinked, Kikai... Aozora... isn't that... looking around, the golden haired youth confirmed that he was in a park of some description...

Kou snapped up in the direction of the somewhat distant scream, feeling slightly panicked now, to see that it came from the direction of the Kikai Aozora dorms... specifically Dorm Five; the dorm that he remembered to be that pink haired girl's dorm, the one that he'd tried to get into... And would have if it wasn't for Robert... If the scream was from there then... she might be in trouble - suddenly - Kou swelled with foolhardy courage. He had to prove that he wasn't just some spoiled rich kid after-all!
xxRacing through the park, probably ruining his expensive clothes; which he really couldn't care less about anyway, Kou stopped in the middle of the dorms trying to locate which building the scream had come from, he didn't have to wait long, moments after he had stopped, a rather suspicious male figure dashed out of one of the dorms sprinting towards the park and straight past Kou.

You can have your character like - dive tackle the Arcana and "fight it off" for a while if you want although most characters will probably be like - terrified and unable to anything xD. Leonoka and Maki, if it's okay, leave your characters out of this event for now I'll PM you both with details in a second. You don't have to involve your character in this event, as it will probably only be two posts long anyway, there will be plenty of opportunities to get them into the action later, you can speak to your dorm-mates if so.
