UVERworld is of teh ultima awesomeness! They're my favorite band! And I have every single one of their CDS (Which isn't really impressive since they only have 1 CD and 2 singles since they barely came out). They're genre is rock. The only anme opening they'v done so far is Bleach, the song: D-technolife, one of my favorites. My others are Burst, Nitro, and Colors of the Heart. But I like all of their songs. I definetly recommend them!
1. Artist/Group Name: KYO

2. Type of music/Genre: French rock. Not very heavy. Usually soft, melodic, often dark ballads.

3. Summary of the band: BenoƮt Poher is vocals. Nicolas Chassagne plays guitar. Florian Dubos plays bass guitar and does background vocals. Fabien Dubos, Florian's brother, plays drums. Although the band is French, the name is Japanese and came from the members' love of Japanese manga.

The vocalist of the band also wrote a thirteen minute film titled "Sad Day," directed by Marc Maggiori. (One of their songs shares the same name.) It tells the story of a young man named Kyo (played by Cyrille Thouvenin) and a girl named Sarah (played by the gorgeous Lisa Manili).

4. Recommended songs:
"Dans Ma Chair" - I can't stop listening to this song. While simplistic, the guitar, bass, drums, and vocals come together beautifully. Chassagne's effective guitar, Poher's biting vocals, and Florian Dubos' harmonic background vocals are my favorite parts of this song. This song is what made me decide that French is the most beautiful language in the world.

"Sarah" - Yes, the Sarah this song refers to is the same Sarah in the "Sad Day" film. Chassagne's guitar adds emphasis to the vocals while complementing the drums nicely. I love the beat. To top it off, it has an amazing music video.

"Derniere Danse" - This is one of KYO's more popular songs. My friend's French teacher is a fan of this song. It's more pop than "Dans Ma Chair" or "Sarah". It's newer than the other two, and each member shows improvement, particularly in composition.

"Ce Soir" - This is the most emotional of the four songs. While all the songs are lovely, this is the only one that reaches a powerful climax. I really like the drums here. Can you tell I'm getting lazier and lazier in my descriptions?

4. Recommended songs: Before we Part!! It was in Eugenes drama "Loving you" Very nice song! Shake this is the newest song they sang from SMTown summer 2006!! It's a good song!!!
