Actually, Kipi's pics are minimally photoshopped,
it's just that since she's a professional, she does professional shootings.
And pro camera gives gives a much
better render than the average ones.

One of my friends have a professional camera, and it gives
pretty much the same result, it's amazing.

They're either photoshopped, like most cosplay pics are that
look like that, or they're from a studio shooting and I can tell
you that these people do not get to look that way themselves.
They have makeup artists, hair stylists, and clothing coordiators
that make them look that good. Think of it like a movie star.

Not conventional, so it doesn't count. If you don't do it all on
your own, it's not practical. I don't count studio shoots and
shopped pictures "good cosplay." "Good Cosplay" to me is
an average, every day person that goes through the effort
to dye their hair/buy a wig and style it themselves, make or
import their costume (and I prefer costumes that don't look
100% identical to the character), and in total takes a few
minutes to get into.
