biggrin its worth 16,000 mint condition. proof u people have no idea what your posting on.

Thirty bucks if you're lucky.
Who will be handling your distribution? I'd hope Diamond, but somehow I doubt you've sent them a pitch. Do you even know the state of the comic publishing industry? Do you even know who Diamond are?
Do you know anything at all about anything?
Deffiant k-
biggrin actually there are a few who do just that.

You have absolutely no understanding of the collector's market.

First issues are valuable because characters and creators are popular, not because they have "#1" on the cover. And there are no collectors who simply buy any first issue of any title without a good reason to do so.

Furthermore, relying on the collector's market of all things, a rapidly shrinking and increasingly irrelevant element of comics, is only just behind "releasing 47 titles without advertising their content" and "discussing signings and appearances when no book exists" on the bell curve of comic book related stupidity.
Deffiant k-
they actually are one of three company's for this sort of thing. and im well aware of what flooding the comic book market will do. twisted

Name the other two.
The man is trying to steal mah copyrights! Mah copyrights!
Deffiant k-
why don't u? if u know so much.

So you were lying again, then.

Who's your lawyer? Let's check his name with his state bar.
Okay I signed up just to tell you that you're wrong.

You're wrong.

The collector's market doesn't exist in the form that you think it does. Nobody is going to buy a first issue from a no-name writer with a no-name artist, and if you're looking for artists on Gaia and refusing to give people any examples of your work, then you're certainly not going to have a well-known artist or writer.

If you can actually get books into comic shops - and I am by no means convinced that you can, given your "in-house publishing" and your complete lack of references or business savvy - then you might, might, sell a few dozen. You will not make huge amounts of money. You will probably not break even.

If the first-issue market was so lucrative, why aren't lots more people taking advantage of it? Make a crummy comic, sell a few copies, go out of business, profit! Woo! We're rakin' it in now! The reason being, of course, that it simply doesn't work that way.

If you think you have a get-rich-quick scheme, first think about why nobody else is doing it. Usually, it's because it's a lose-money-quick scheme, and I think this scheme of yours stands to lose you money . . . if you do, in fact, have any money invested in it.

Prove me wrong.
OHMIGOD TIHS IS SOOOOO LEGIT!

The owner can't form a complete, gramatically correct sentence! He deletes his posts when proven wrong so the only evidence is people's quotes, and only because he hasn't figured out how to delete those too! He blocks people who question him so they can't respond to the thread!

THERE'S NOTHING SHADY HERE AT ALL EVERYONE SIGN UP NOW!

You, child, are pathetic. Completely, utterly, pathetic. What exactly did you hope to accomplish by creating this thread? Were you looking for attention? Adulation? People throwing wreathes of roses around your virtual neck as praise for your grand ideas and your massive production of over 13,000 nonexistent pages of tripe?

Or is there a bigger scam involved in this? Once we email you, do you start suckering us into some kind of MLM or Nigerian scheme you've concocted, and chosen to unleash on an "unsuspecting kiddy game"?

I might have been willing to give you the benefit of the doubt that you were just poorly organized and poorly informed before. But you blocked me. So I won't play nice anymore. You're a fraud, through and through, and whatever scam it is you were cooking with this garbage, it's not going to work. Give up, grow up, graduate from High School and get yourself some education. And then maybe you'll see how stupid you've been.
So let's get this straight, lemme make sure I'm not forgetting the important parts.

You're running a company you claim is incorporated, without providing proof of incorporation, a registration number, a website, or a contact besides yourself.

You claim to have backers, who you won't name, a lawyer, who you also won't name, and 47 comics ready to go to print, when you have no idea how to find and use a printer. And by "printer," I mean a company that owns a press, not your Canon DeskMate.

You business plan consists entirely of selling to a collector's market that will not support you, using distributors that do not exist, and while you refuse to promote online for nonsensical reasons, you plan signings and appearances for artists you don't have who work on books who don't exist.

When politely questioned on any of this, you throw tantrums and feebly attempt to sound cagey and mysterious. When called on your lies, the banning starts.

Is that everything?

Oh, yeah, and you say you're 33 years old.

Wanna tell us about your supermodel girlfriend, red Ferrari and 300-pound bench presses, or are you just about done here, sport?
i think you about nailed it, funbucket.

this is megrar, btw. i said previously that i was done with the thread, but i kept reading because i love trainwrecks. and when remeria said she'd been banned, i glanced at my reply button and discovered the same for myself.

so i felt it necessary to throw in that fact.

deffiant k, you're a tool.
