I believe the term for what you need to do is "Expand your horizons." Check out books other than Twilight, or Harry Potter, or things that you see a lot here.

I'd recommend books by Terry Pratchett, or maybe you could try The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy or Ender's Game. Ender's Game is fairly complicated, though, so if you don't like really deep books, then you might want to start smaller.

Oh, and I don't particularly like Twilight, myself. The rabid fangirls tend to turn me off of it.

I did not got to breaking dawn... Just for reading Twilight I had to sacrifice half of my braincells. Even though the book does sound better on my language than on English.
