I just finished watching the last episode of the anime of Inuyasha. I am told, and it is quite apparent, that the manga of Inuyasha continues the story.

Does anyone know which volume of the manga I should start on in order to continue the story?

Arigatou gozaimasu!

Oh god lord! There is soo much volume for Inuyasha that I don't dare reading it. I think there is about 70-80 volume for Inuyasha (don't quite remember) eek You decide if you wanna continue watcing it. 3nodding

(((d-_-b))) -Listen to the Beat-
Bzzzt... There's only 47 volumes released (in Japan) for InuYasha. Takahashi-sensei has said she wants to go to 500 chapters which means there will be 50 volumes.

Not sure which volume you should start with since I despise the InuYasha anime. So sorry. I do know that there are 47 volumes out. So I'm guessing that the manga hasn't even been released to the US yet.

He's adorable!!!!

i haven't watched or read inuyasha in a while

The events of the last episode of Inuyasha take place in volume 36, but I recommend starting before that, since the last few episodes were squished together.

Like, volume 1. There are some slight discrepancies between it and the anime that make a wide difference. biggrin

I like Inuyasha. Half dog-demon, half human. Haven't watched the anime in a while and read up to book 4. neutral

I would start from one.

Mule. Live with it.^^

As it's been said, the anime leaves off at about volume 36. Though the anime and manga always tend to be different anyway.

Well, i'm currently reading translations of volume 47-48, and it said in the host'd comments that there wasn't much left, so ya, like FallenSin said, there's probably gonna be 50+ books ^^

no theres about 50 vols out so far in japan. you'd have to find a site so you can read the mangas there until you can get the mangas for the US. like me.

It would probably just be best to start from number one and just work your way through the series. I'm sure there are some differences between the manga and the anime, that is the case with most (if not all series) after all.

I'm not sure about the manga, I'm only up to #4. I haven't even seen all the Inuyasha in anime version cause I never know when it's on. I own the 4 movies but not the anime yet. I'm still working on it. I wonder if anyone knows a site to watch it.
