For all you people who are looking for bible verses that back up my position, which is that homosexuality is a sin, here they are.

Lev. 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."

Lev. 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them"

1 Cor. 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

Rom. 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."

Also I would like to correct an opinion that many non-christian people seem to have. WE DO NOT HATE HOMOSEXUALS. We believe that it is wrong, but we do not hate and are not prejudiced against homosexuals. So could you all please stop calling us bigots? Thank you, that is all. ninja

And if you can't be bothered to read the first ******** post, then I'm not going to even consider making an attempt to placate you or understand your position.

Oh, and you do not speak for the whole of Christendom. I just thought I'd clear that up.

Also, LOL Peer.

Nobody cares. I'm calling you a shitty Christian, and judging by your misuse of Scriptures, I'm pretty set in my assessment.

And yes folks, it was a little snobbish of me to put the translational request that way, but it was still relevant to the discussion.

So I apologize for coming off as dickish and pockyauto can shut his whiny mouth as he lacks any valid complaint about my procedure for establishing veracity of religious material.

I would've gotten to your material before Ananel, Servus, had I not been as swamped with homework as I had been.

I apologize for making you wait, as belligerant as you may be. Disrespect does not warrent further disrespect. If it had been avoidable I would have responded immediately.

If you wish me to do an in depth analysis of them, I can, although its rather pointless now that Ananel did his. There wasn't much for me to add.

Oh Poe don't feel bad, the only people that really feel mifed over intalectual people are th ones who can't follow along, Plus Servus is just Scholastic and has been a Papa's boy from day one.

You have to be a Catholic to be a Heritic dear.

Technically, you only have to be baptised.

As a Catholic or Christian in general?
(because if Catholic is the ony type of Christian in your worldview then any other baptismals do not count)

If one interprets the Matthew passage to indicate the confession as being the rock,

And presuming one doesn't?

Then get ready to have me call the foundation of the Roman Catholic Church an admitted, accused and chastised (by Christ) apostate.

Also I would like to correct an opinion that many non-christian people seem to have. WE DO NOT HATE HOMOSEXUALS. We believe that it is wrong,

To hate what they are or what they do or anything about them is to hate them, for you cannot look upon a man and say "Brother I love you but I hate your existance" How can you love someone yet hate their actions? how can you know who they are when you are already juding some part of them as less worthy of your love? How can there ever be love when they have been marred by that hate? Love is not approval, love is not permission, love is not saying "do this or do that" Love simply IS. And to pesonally or even with any justification say something is right or wrong in your or even God's view is to make a Judgement call on God who has made all man equal and all of mans sin equal and has given us all his forgivness equally.

but we do not hate and are not prejudiced against homosexuals.

If you are against Gay marrage or opose homosexuality you are being prejudice against them because you are pre-judging them as less then worthy due to their sexuality.

So even the Hertitics and Blasphimers can baptise? Is this some coked out rendition of if they aren't against us they're for us which then in that case can you call it a baptismal into the catholic church if they're becoming baptised heritics to begin with? Did the Catholic church somehoe copyright baptismal and now just lolz whenever some prodistant gets baptised because they can claim ownership over the soul and damn them on default?

Not necessarily. If the sacrement is handled differently enough by the other sect it may not be suitable enough to count as a true baptism (according to the Catholic dogma).

So to the Catholics, those people wouldn't be Christian at all technically.
Of course, that's assuming that the Catholic Church has the authority to act as the middleman between Christ and humanity.

If it doesn't then baptism of another sect would have nothing to do with the Vatican.

I don't really think so. To me, God is just made up of Human emotions from all around the world. Humans have the power to decide if your being a bad christian or not...not the icon of our feelings. That is not to make other people feel bad. 3nodding
