First, I know I'll get flamed/bashed because I posted this, but It doesn't matter. I probably won't come back to this thread. But I wanted to post this.
You're taking scriptures out of context. To love someone as your neighbor doesn't mean to go against what God had set before time in order to please people.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
'Don't you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people-none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God."
But through Jesus you can be made holy and can be forgiven.
1 Corinthians 6:11
'Some of were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.'
Now then if God liked homosexuality and allowed it.. Wouldn't he have them be able to come into the kingdom of God? But no, he doesn't not. Therefore God does not like and doesn't want it to happen. But, I do have to mention that all things are possible with God. So if there is (Which there is ) people who love, praise and worship God just like (or even more than) opposite sex (I can't think of the word..) marriage people then maybe God might have them in his Kingdom. I'm not sure though, but I still had to say that anything is possible with God.
So stop saying Christians are bad because they are following what is written in the bible. No, I do not believe that it is right for a Christian to hate, be rude and to yell at gays that they're going to hell. That isn't being Christian at all. They should follow Jesus' teachings and treat them kindly, love them as ourselves, as our neighbors, as God's children and show them the love of God.
Now, before you go posting and thinking that I hate gays and stuff like that. I don't. I have never hated them or condemned them. In fact I have stopped people from bashing them. But that does not mean that I believe in there should be same sex marriage. I don't believe there should be and yes that is because of what is taught in the Bible. But remember, I believe what the Bible teach us to do to them, which is to love them, not hate them.
