the onion girl by charles de lint.
it actually has linguistic variety among characters which is hard to find in a book but is very prominant in real life.

I really enjoyed "Paper Towns" by John Green. smile I've been reading his others but I can't get into them as easily as Paper Towns.

I think "Saving Charlie" (Heroes spin-off) was good, too. I can't remember it much since I read it when it first came out.

Death Dealer is good too. smile
