Shoudorable: I totally get what you mean about the whole 'only things written by certain people' thing. And the character death thing...I just hate it! I'm picky about what I read too. The name, the summary/sypnosis, pairings, ratings...All of that come in to place when I decide whether or not I'll read it. And, like you, if I get bored half way through I'll stop reading it.

So it looks like the majority here does...Where do you read it? What's your fav pairings? Any suggestions to me?

I read them on Quizilla. But you have to be careful because their are some really badly written ones on there. I pretty much like all the pairings but I have to switch it up once in awhile, reading too much of the same pairing can get boring. There are some really good Gazeboy Yaoi fanfic authors on Quizilla though, just depends on how much smut/action/drama you like in them I suppose.

I ABSOLUTELY HATEHATEHATEHATE READING FANFICS WITH DEATH IN THEM.
I hate reading ANY fanfics with death in them, ranging from Anime to J-Rockers...
So I don't even go NEAR those.

I also hate reading fanfics that include some time of horrible rape...like...abusive rape. Smut's ok, but NOT rape. Someone always dies in rape...D;

I actually don't really read fanfics unless it has something to do with pairings in them. Otherwise, I feel they're boring.
I like reading oneshots - they're quick and easy.

I sometimes like reading about emo Ruki though. ._. -hides-

I read mine on drama lama LiveJournal, commonly known as lj. XD
My favorite pairings at the moment is...............Ruki x Aoi and Aoi x Ruki, certain Reita x Ruki fics, aaaaaaaaaand Reita x Uruha fanarts or calm fluff stories. Also the infamous Uruha x Aoi and Aoi x Uruha. Ummm Reita x Kai? And then there's threesomes but that's unmentionable so -cough-
Also Reita x Aoi. Like it really depends on the context of the fanfiction, when it's super action I prefet the Ruki and Aoi and also Aoi and Reita, with exceptions for Aoi and Uruha. Drama I prefer Reita and Ruki, Aoi and Uruha. Aaaaaand fluff it doesn't matter as long as it's not generic sweet. I don't mind rape unless someone get's killed. I've read threesome rape where it turns out for a sick better(As in the whole "LOL U GAIZ I DON'T MIND THAT HAPPENING AGAIN EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T LIEK IT AT FIRSTTTT" wink

I think I'd recommend A Dirty Carnival by minka_g, Beautiful Killers by reiyayel, ummm.......what was it..... Phoenix by gazerock4eva, and A Marriage of Deception by urulover_427, and also her currently updating fic(Can't remember the name of it either, you'd have to go to her archive). Then there's stuff by fortunate_heart, but a lot of her stuff is angsty so if you REALLY can't stand it(a lot of her fics make me cry) don't go to them. And I don't have a link to the threesome oneshot I like soo much by her.

A Dirty Carnival is finished and has a sequel, and isn't always focused on the GazettE - many other bands and artists are featured. reiyayel has a new account......matkashi, I think, but Beautiful Killers and it's unfinished sequel is still on her reiyayel account. matkashi account has this fic that I can't remember the name of at the moment but someone dies every chapter, sorta like SAW or something but ten times better. urulover_427's fics are AU, like fairytale but good, and also modern day AU. Phoenix is not AU, but it's like 40 chapters now and VERY good.
Like she has another one where Ruki has a stalker? I think, I forgot, but it was good too. XD;;;

I've written jrockxOC on quizilla, mostly smut requests and I just started doing jrock yaois on LJ. I've pretty much put my things on quizilla on hiatus to complete the stuff I'm doing for yaois, which is consuming my free time [which is perfectly okay] but I'm going to delete my AoixUruha series...I don't like the unexpected twists and turns it has made. But the RukixUruha one is coming out perfectly. [which in the beginning was ReitaxUruha with a one night stand sort of thing] But I don't suggest my own work to people that don't like angst, smut, bondage etc.

But since you guys like yaois, I'm already thinking of two new series, both with the main pairings of AoixUruha, UruhaxAoi but of course on the side will be ReitaxRuki, RukixReita and Kaix??? in one, and ReitaxUruha and RukixReita [possible threesome of Reita, Ruki and Kai], and was wondering if I could get an opinion for the story lines? The first one will be AU of them going to school...Hn. I should make a prologue and show it huh? But in simple, that one will contain angst, smut, prostitution, gang violence, Uru pole-dancing [not stripping, pole-dancing] bribery and more to come.

The other one I've had on my mind for quite some time. It involves Uruha having to cross-dress and pass as a woman so that his little brother, Reita, who is the son of the king and his rightful wife [Uruha was born of the king and a servant mother who was raped] could take the thrown. I feel like I'm confusing you guys....That one will contain Rape, fluff, angst, violence, war, smut etc...Crap...I'm too tired for this.
