Anyway, all of their songs are stupid a** songs. They want to make ballads + some ******** of wanting to be slipknot (awful outside of like, one song) and pantera (mostly bad)

Also when the video is MMA/UFC/etc. themed, you know it's a horrible song and horrible band. Their frontman is that douchebag who wore tapout stuff throughout school and had ricer posters all over his room but never even fought and didn't even have a car. Their frontman reminds me of THAT GUY. Those guys? They're the ones that listen to this crap. It's worse than music made for wrestling on TV, and those are legitimately some of the worst songs ever made.

Music is music. Just because it doesn't suit your mood or lifestyle, doesn't mean it's "the worst songs ever made"
They have a way of bringing peoples emotions up, without them having to get rid of them through violence. It allows us to channel our hate in non-violent manners. We listen to a song like The Way of the Fist, and it relieves our desires to beat the ******** out of somebody, because it makes us feel stronger, and thus, a better person than who we're frustrated with.
Not to mention, FFDP was formed 7 years ago, with their first album released 5 years ago. For them to have as much success as they do, with only 3 albums, they're obviously doing something right.

I judge him based on his wannabe toughguy attitude, his trying too hard to be Phil Anselmo, and interviews I've seen him in. He was the guy in highschool who would be like "OMG I LIEK METALZ, MY FAVORITE SONGS ARE WALK AND ENTER SANDMANZ"
Nah, I don't know that he'd get away with murder if he could. Because he tries too hard to be Phil Anselmo, who he apparently believes is a REALLY tough dude. Which is why he idolizes him, clearly.

What they're doing right? Is appealing to wannabe toughguys, as well as wannabe metal heads/RAWK N RAWL kids in high school. They've found a niche that will get them radio play/album sales because people like generic garbage. That is why they are successful with 3 albums, which could actually apply to plenty of artists tbh. Still though, THAT is why they are successful.
The fact it doesn't suit my "mood or lifestyle" is not why it's awful. It's awful because it is a generic, corporate product made to appeal to people like you, wannabe Phil Anselmos, and GAWFIC METALHEADZ DOOD. It is the Three Days Grace of "metal"
