Final Fantasy versus XIII

Okay I'm sure that we have all heard of this game. I just watched a 2011 trailer for it and at the vary end all it says in "For Playstation 3" and nothing else. Not even a teasing promise of any kind of year. Hear is the link to the video.

So my question is this. Is this game ever going to come out!? I've been hearing about it for years but hype for this game is virtually none existant and I'm starting to think this is the most elaborate joke on the planet.

As much as I hate to say it, I think it will come out just shortly after the FFVII remake. Which is to say never. I hope it comes out, I mean Duke Nukem Forever finally came out so weirder things have happened and stuff.

If I remember correct it was suppose to come out like 6 months after final Fantasy XIII I think it just got delayed over and over for other cash cows.

As much as I hate to say it, I think it will come out just shortly after the FFVII remake. Which is to say never. I hope it comes out, I mean Duke Nukem Forever finally came out so weirder things have happened and stuff.

Good point, but let's not forget just how big of a fail Duke Nukem Forever was. Let's hope nether things about it are repeated with FFVXIII

Type-0 is not related to XIII in any way except it shares a mythology. So there are fal'cie, l'cie and all that, but beyond that, nothing is related.

Nomura says that we could be getting Versus XIII news before E3 and it will be running on actual hardware (i.e we'll be seeing the game in action instead of in a trailer). It's started full-production in August/September, so we're closer to Versus XIII than we initially were.

versus is suppose to be more like our world than XIII's world but we'll see. xD Though I honestly bet anything that with the inclusion of ffXIII-2 their now going to relate to each other with the Paradox endings.
