the gears aren't worth putting it above some of the obviously better arcs, Alabasta, Arlong, Thriller Bark, Shabondy, Little Garden, stuff like that. Spandam getting beaten was a nice touch, but it's not like we haven't ever had an enemy we wanted to see beat before. coughbellamycough. Regardless, here's some dandy fanart I found.

EL in the anime was absolutely terrible save a few eps(304 was a good one, Nami vs Kafika was well done). Manga was win.
