stare If I had to choose, I would pick Eminem. Due to the fact that alot of his older music has to do with his everyday struggles and life. Of course, the modernization of "rap" has changed alot of his newer music. Lil Wayne on the other hand... neutral He pretty much only raps about many vulgar and disturbing things, but I guess it depends on the listener. He's not a good influence but yet stays on top of the hit lists, so I do give him credit for that. I used to be a huge fan, but I have changed my mind on that.

I don't care about "hits." Eminem is better than Lil Wayne. I know Lil Wayne's songs appeal to the mainstream more because they're catchy but they lack any meaning, at least most of them.

I agree. I like both, I really do, but Lil' Wayne is just... eh. I used to not like Eminem, but as I listen to him more, he's definitely got something going on

Depends, you really cant choose . They both rap about different things . But if I had to choose . . . Both . Wayne's voice may be annoyin but some of his stuff is cool . Eminem , all his stuff is dope .

Eminem re-defined what is possible with Hip-hop music. I'm not even his biggest fan, but there's no denying it. He had relevant political views, He was never the materialistic kind of Artist, He knew how to piss off the system, and his rhyme flows, schemes, topics and deliveries were almost UNHEARD OF before he came around, and his level of Lyricism is only matched by a few. A FEW.

Lil Wayne has his Image, and the fans that like his brand of simplified Rap and Bubble-gum/Bullshit content. You tell me who's better.
