Edward or Jacob and why?

If you want to look at the role they play in the movie, then I would choose Jacob. He is caring and supportive. Edward would not have given Bella the time of day had he not wanted to eat her. As far as them in general, I really don't know. I think I would still go for Jacob. RP played in a few other films( Cedric in Harry Potter) and TL has done some voice acting and some other small rolls ( Danny Phantom) (Cheaper by the dozen, My Wife and kinds, The Bernie Mac Show ) I like funny people and I really liked the Danny Phantom series.

heart biggrin Definatly Edward, I love Vampires and Werewolevs! Twilight/newmoon/eclipse+breakingdawn do the best kind of vampires + werewolves ever!! Dracula puts vampires to shame, but luckily the cullens make the vampires look like amazing because they are! Jacob is very nice to bella when edward leaves her, but edward always loved bella and he is hot and cares for bella so much. He's such a gentle men ( well ,he's not, he's a vampire, dur ) ! If I have to choose...well I've never read the books, so based on the 1st movie, Jacob. He seems nice, happy, marginally less angsty. Also, being a Native American werewolf is much more impressive than being an unrealistic sparkly vampire.

Idk what they're supposed to look like in the books, but frankly, both movie actors are unattractive to me.

Anyway, this question is silly. I only answered it to distract myself from hunger.

Did you know the writer of Twilight didn't actually know all about vampires? She just decided she liked the whole drinking blood and being super strong and immortal.

All the characters in the book and movie are cliche and boring.

Oh and another thing, why does the media ignore that the chick who was the lead in twilight is like a coke fiend? That chick is >always< doped up in every single interview you see her in.

Edit: I just wanna add. If vampires were real, they would rather kill a human that fall in love with them. Probably because they have no souls and have no emotions..

I have to laugh every SINGLE time someone makes a comment about Stephanie Meyer's vampires or werewolfs...

The Twilight Saga takes place in HER world. If she wanted them to survive on gatorade and twizzlers, that's her creative right.

If you don't like it, don't read the books or watch the movies.

I'd be REALLY upset if I had to conform my writing to the "standards" or "classics".

If creativity was supposed to be "by-the-book" and had to conform, it wouldn't be CREATIVE it'd be conformity!

All in all...Id have to go with Jacob Because, Hes warm, and enjoys a little thrill in life.

I find it hard to believe you when you say it's a good book. I have a question, is it as good as A Tale of Two Cities? How about The Time Machine? Or maybe 1984 by George Orwell? Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? Pride and Prejudice? The Lord of the Rings? The Hobbit? The Harry Potter series?

We're entitled to tell them that their opinions are insults to literacy and everything that is good about literature.

Edward is a 100+ year old vampire with all the mental development of a 15 year old. Jacob is a werewolf who finds his soulmate in a newborn vampire that is impossible to have been conceived. I suppose he gets props for being picky. Both are poor choices for any sort of comparison. Jacob is sexually attracted to newborns and Edward has the sexual prowess of a moose. All force and noise.

Edward is also wishy washy. Seriously, if you're going to dump a chick and she wrecks her life to get you back, you should be thanking god that you dodged the crazy bullet. Not going, oh wow, she loves me, I better go back to her.

In the end I choose Dracula for actually having character development. Can't think of a single vampire clan in need of a righteous b***h slap from the king vamp himself than the Cullens.

Look, I'm not going to lie. I've never read the book, only online, satirical synopsis of the books, but I think that Jacob, from what I understand, is the much better character simply because he doesn't beat Bella about and doesn't treat her like crap. Though, his weird obsession for her child does make him seem a bit less attractive, but Edward is just a creep that controls her emotionally, and seems to be truly abusive.
