You know what I find really funny. If you think about it, when Edward
sucked the venom out of Bella, he didn't save her. He killed her. If he would have left it in, she would be a vampire, thus living forever. (If you aren't getting technical on the whole 'aren't you already dead' thing)
But since he sucked it out, she can now die. So really, Edward isn't really a big hero if he just made Bella's death happen a lot sooner. rofl

Yes but at the same time edwards thinks becoming a vampire ur soul goes to hell or somethin like that. So wouldnt that be killing her too? Maybe u should think about it again.

Does he know her soul will go to hell? Does he have actual proof of that? And if you can't live without a soul, how is Edward still here? Maybe you should think it through. And use spell check. That wouldn't hurt.

I don't think he ever once said he was watching her while she slept for her safety. He said he was following her for her safety, but not watching her as she slept. Even if it was it's still just plain wrong. Also, contrary to what people may think due to Romeo and Juliet, love doesn't mean you'll kill yourself if they die. If you love someone and know they love you, and they die, then you should know that what they would want for you would be to get on with your life and be happy. Killing yourself is just stupid and selfish. Plus, who's to say Bella and Edward love each other at all? Sure they say they do, but give me some proof. Show me why they love each other apart from her smelling nice and him looking good.

The "Twu Wuv" thing is a cop-out. You need REAL evidence, and REAL chemistry, "read between the lines" doesn't cut it. Because there's nothing to read. It's just two angst-ridden teenagers that think that because they're so different and special that they are meant to be. Which they are not. And killing yourself should NOT be a declaration of your so-called love for someone. It's stupid and selfish, not romantic. Not matter what the circumstances are.

I mean how would you feel if you had a boyfriend or a girlfriend and someone was trying to get with them all the time? Jealous? YES! And as far as Edward watching Bella while she sleeps, she likes the fact that he does it and since he doesn't sleep anyway what else is there to do? Edward is in no way an abusive boyfriend and anyone who says that should be shot in my opinion.

There's a difference between watching your girlfriend sleep when she knows you're doing it, and watch a stranger. He didn't know that she wouldn't mind, but he did it anyway. That was a violation of her privacy!

Oh, I'm sure she didn't. It would be better if she did. For me it shows how poor an author she is. When your "perfect," loving boyfriend shows a lot of abusive tendancies that you didn't mean him to, it shows your articulation skills aren't so good.

That's an interesting view, but I don't think Edward is abusive. He might be a little violent, but still. His suicide was just an indication of how much he loved Bella. I doubt he would never hurt her. I'm sure the author wasn't intending to make him abusive.
