My bold, for emphasis.
As for the shallow thing: If I could read the minds of my boyfriend's friends, and I thought they were shallow, I'd keep my goddamned mouth shut. Because I respect that he doesn't think so. Especially if I had so much power over him that he'd actually believe me. And yes, I have run into similar situations, albeit without the mindreading.

The song ended, and I dropped my arms.
His hands hesitated at my waist, and he glanced at my bum leg. "Do you want to dance again? Or can I help you get somewhere?"
Edward answered for me. "That's all right, Jacob. I'll take it from here"

Well clearly from her body language she was done dancing with him and you have to account for the fact that they are dating and their earlier conversation. And you could also say that Jacob is abusive because who does he ask if he can dance with Bella. Edward. Not her so isn't that abusive?
And Bella doesn't even like Jessica that much and only likes her because she can have minimal conversation wit her so people will think shes normal.
You're right. Asking a boyfriend if you can have a dance when it's his girlfriend you want to dance with is ridiculous, and if it ever happens to me I'll tell him right. Not abuse, per se, but adhereing to a stupid, disrespectful tradition. However, he asked her if she would like to dance again, or needed help. Maybe he doesn't know the body language stuff. It was up to her, not Edward, to tell him.
She's never given a chance to like Jessica! She knows her for a week or so, and then her head is so full of thoughts of Edward she doesn't care for any conversation. But that doesn't matter. The fact that he insulted someone who he couldn't know she didn't care for is irresponsible and not respectful.

Bella likes Jacob and she would feel bad telling him to beat it.
It not respectful or nice but it isn't abusive, two of my friends really dislike each other and they've told me so, but I don't are I still hang with both.
And part of the blame here has to fall with Bella because she's even more obsessed with Edward that Edward is with her.
And I'm breaking the rules!! Hehehe I'm not supposed to be on the computer this late.

Edward can't know that she wants him to beat it. And maybe she doesn't, she just doesn't want to dance anymore. Or hey, knowing Bella's dislike for dances, maybe she doesn't know that dropping your arms means you don't want to dance anymore. If she was done with him, than it was her responsibility and her's alone to tell him so. About on the subject of breaking rules, Sam Vimes has said, "If you'll do it for a good reason, you'll do it for a bad one." Same goes for speaking for your gilfriend.
Uh, I think treating your girlfriend disrespectfully is a big part of abuse. But here you're trying to blame the victim; Bella has very little willpower, and Edward uses this to distance her from a potential friend, whether meaning to or not. Regardless of his intentions, she still ends up isolated.
And you should get off the computer. The thread will still be here when you get back, I promiseXD

I have read many many works of fiction and Dumbledore is one of my favorite characters ever, part of that has to do with the fact that I love HP!!!
Anyway you have to blame Bella to an extent, I mean she didn't stick up for Jessica, partly because she doesn't really like Jessica.
I mean if I were dating Edward and called one of my friends shallow I would either tell him to shut up or keep his opinion to himself. Bella doesn't that is her fault. Edward was mean, but Bella didn't do anything about it.
Well Edward can hear them talking and but the tone it was getting awkward, and Edward deciding to spare Jacob the hurt, and Bella the part of causing it. Plus the body language. That is just so obvious.

Have you been to to her site? Have you met her?
I was at a book signing a few months ago and someone did mention he could be quite cruel at times (And this is very true leaving her and then trying to kill himself over something his sister who obvisouly does not like Bella says was very very stupid of him.)
She thought about this and then a audience member offered to give an explanation and she let her. (please keep in mind this was a few months ago and my quote is not word for word but the same message.)
"Yes but he's also looking out for her but since he's a vampire he can't do it the same way a human can he hasn't been a human in a long time and so he keeps messing up it wouldn't be a story if he didn't."
So yes Edward is probably the worst possible choice for a boyfriend.
Also vampires are created to attract their prey. It's no wonder Bella is unhealthly obssesed with him he has something about him making him that way. This would be no diffrent with any of the other brothers.
Jacob and Edward are enemies end of story they will hate eachother and Edward is jealous yes because in his absence Bella grew extremly close to Jacob.
About Bella's isolation she CHOOSES to be like that this is Bella's NATURE. She never had many friends living with her mom and she dosen't with her Dad. Edward yes may keep her away from HUMAN friends but her best friend is considered to be Alice. She is also friends with Jacob and Jasper along with the others.
Bella never tells her Dad anything because they don't have a relationship she lives with him and cooks he gives her a house and a room.
It's not a relationship at all. She dosen't trust him like her Mom.
So yes you make some good points and yes I can see where your argument is coming from, but you also need to look at the other side of things.
I think once the book in Edwards point of view comes out we could possibly make a stronger argument.

Like I said, yeah, Bella has no willpower. No backbone. She's a wimp and I hate her. But if a mother breaks her child's arm, will you blame the child for being too weak to defend itself? Jessica is her new friend, and yeah, she doesn't really like her yet. Therefor, she doesn't stick up for her, but believes Edward because A) he can read minds, he must be right! And B) He's Edward, he must be right!
That doesn't matter! He's speaking for her! And like I said, if he'll speak for his girlfriend for (what he considers) a good reason, he'll do it for a bad one.

So if Bella can be swayed that easily it is her fault partly. And if you look at Jessica, she is shallow. But Edward doesn't call all her friend shallow just one.

I'm sorry but I do not have that time I read the first post and posted my opinon and if your just going to tell me to go through the thread then it means you are either too lazy to continue to argue your point like most people do or you are bored with your argument. Oh yes because we all know everyone has all the time in the world to go through over 30 pages to make sure the creator dosen't have to repeat herself.
I'm sorry but I do not have that time I read the first post and posted my opinon and if your just going to tell me to go through the thread then it means you are either too lazy to continue to argue your point like most people do or you are bored with your argument. These are the thing you mentioned and these are the things that will be answered and yes most will be the same. I've heard your argument 500 times and I still gave my points.
Er, woah. I said "read through the thread a while," not read the whole damn thing. I'm not stupid. Trust me, you won't have to look very far. In fact, in the second post there's a list of common arguments and their rebuttals, I'm sure some of your points were covered.
And to be frank, yes I am tired of repeating myself. I want people to come up with new arguments that I haven't already refuted.
