The Thrill of Twilight
No, not anger just....frustrated XP I mean I understand where you are coming from, but its like......You guys are analyzing some of the quotes wrong ><'' Its just like your facts on abuse are kinda.....interesting. They seem to be more of manipulative then abusive.
Ah, frustrationXD Well, I little time does wonders for that.
And manipulation is a form of abuse o.0
And of course the points don't add up; you don't want them too! Note that they have for a lot of people, so it
could be a personal thing, not a logical thing.
@Janner: Do you really think that seducing someone into changing their opinions, philosophies, etc. is a
good thing? That's what we call "using sex as a weapon." How is she supposed to have a relationship with this guy if at any moment he might use is charm to make her compromise her views?
And finally: He could do it if he tried, I'm sure. She's always weakened momentarily, and then makes up her resolve later, so all he has to do is be there when she's going to ask.
And just because I don't
own the book, doesn't mean I haven't read it. I dedicated a
lot of time to being able to know what I was talking about in this kind of debate. I have
pages of notes, that slowed me down and made the process more painful than it could have been. Because I wanted to be accurate. I'm sorry, this is a pet peeve, but
dont say that I haven't even read it after I did that much work.
And, much as I hate to leave in the middle of a debate, Domni was right, I need some sleep. I'll check in tomorrow.
