Yeah... Bella's logic is too screwy. She's unaffected by being attacked by James. She gets mad at Edward for calling her mom after the attack. Bella hates humans, and tends to refer to herself as not being human.... I do that in a joking manner, but I do admit to being human.
Yeah but she doesn't see how it could work any other way.

So, if you don't really love your boyfriend, you'd rather not be with him forever.

Just say you loved your boyfriend that you wanted to marry him. Would you want to spend all eternity with him? Or leave him for heaven?

Honestly! In Heaven you don't think you will see you loved one's agian?

If they're immortal, I don't think you would.

They can be killed.

...Yes, inTwilight the vampires can be killed. But if you're immortal you don't die.

Yes I know that, but if they are killed, what would you do then?
Oh and we are kinda talking about Twilight so thats all that matters.

Yes. Back to Twilight.

Bella does want to be immortal, because she wants to be with the person she loves. But Edward can't die unless killed by the Volturi. But if there was no way to kill the vampires in Meyer's story, than what would be the point of dying if the one you loved couldn't join you in Heaven?

Vampires are already a cursed species, and thus wouldn't be granted to Heaven, no matter the good they've done.

I'll assume that you have no comment on my other points?

Biology does not stop all humans form killing themselves
Nope, and I'm sure there are some very drastic things that would drive vampires to do it, too. But they would have to be a lot worse than that. Same way that something that would drive a mayfly to suicide would seem trivial to us.

And:I know it's Bella we're talking about. The fact that he forces Bella to conform to his beliefs (that vampires have no souls and no afterlife) and to have what he would want (an afterlife) is controlling of him. It's her life, she gets to choose how it ends.

1. I think that would be enough for Edward to commit suicide.
2. He does not conform to Edwards beliefs because she doesn't believe them as stated in the end of New Moon.

1. Now who's applying human mechanics to vampires?
2. I know she doesn't. But he takes the choice of becoming a vampire out of her hands, because of his belief. Thus controlling her life.

Back to the main point.

Edward doesn't want Bella to become a vampire. He's being over protective because he's completely against the idea, besides the fact that he wants her to live a long life. Edward is making the choice for her. He did the same thing in the whole vote at the end of New Moon, where Bella asked the whole family. Everyone said yes expect for Rosalie and Edward. If he loves her so much, why would he let her die, and then just end life from there? That makes no sense. If you love someone to the extent that Edward does love Bella, you'd want to be with them forever. Thus he should want her to be immortal.

But him choosing for her, is being abusive and over protective.

1. Waitwait! No [insert explitive here] way! There is no possible way that you can say what goes and what doesn't. How do you know that he can love her but not abuse her? Doesn't that seem like cheating? Either he can love her enough to kill himself for her and he can abuse her, or he can do neither. Abuse transcends species, too. (As I have proven)
2. I'm sure he'd be damn upset about it. He'd probably seduce her into changing her mind, too.

Not quite right. If he loves her that much he should want her to do what makes her happy/what she believes in. If that's being immortal, then he he can be upset about it, but should respect that decision.
