no possible way that you can say what goes and what doesn't. How do you know that he can love her but not abuse her? Doesn't that seem like cheating? Either he can love her enough to kill himself for her
and he can abuse her, or he can do neither. Abuse transcends species, too. (As I have proven)
2. I'm sure he'd be damn upset about it. He'd probably seduce her into changing her mind, too.

quite right. If he loves her that much he should want her to do what makes her happy/what she believes in. If that's being immortal, then he he can be upset about it, but should respect that decision.
