Death Wears A Monocle
I won't give the red cross my blood. At least not yet... not now... other than the fact that it's illegal... I have very good reason for keeping it. They just want it so bad. I know people need blood, but they're just going to have to do without mine.
I've been sick for a long time. Like, since the middle of December, maybe longer than that. But that can't be an excuse. School doesn't like that idea, and I don't like that idea. So that probably means that it's just me being lazy. Yeah, that's it.
why is it illegal to give your blood? (sorry, I am big advocate...
redface )
schools dont' know s**t. Chances are, the physical and the mental imbalance are due to something that is off. You probably have something (relationship, writing, changing classes, whatever, you're 14, everything is a stressor) that is freaking you out. If you label it as lazy, then you label the emotional/physical/mental recouperation process as a bad thing. Sometimes there is a lot more good in taking a break than in forcing the issue.
Well, reasons why me giving blood is illegal is because I'm underage and you're not supposed give blood when you're sick, are you?
And it would generally not be a good idea otherwise because I don't like passing out.
This "recouperation" thing is taking entirely way too long. I really can't let my grades slip this far. EVERYTHING has been freaking me out. And I need to get things done. And there's the possibility that I have mono, which would explain a lot, but I don't get tested for that unless the antibiotics don't work by Tuesday, and I have the feeling that they're working because everything is draining down the back of my throat, which probably means that it's out of my ears.
I mean, I was out of school this Thursday. That makes it four times this quarter.
