I loved vegeta when it used to play on toonami and it was the old version before funimation took over dbz.
then I loved goku when the funimation took over. but the best full blooded saiyan to me would be bardock. |

the live action movie is going to suck. come on goku in high school. he never even went to school and he sure didn't live in a city. their going to mess this movie up so bad. it will make a lot of fans mad. it will me. if they wanted to make a movie they should of followed the story not make up stupid crap. they even drop some of the charcter. like oolong yamcha's cat. their not really that important but they were still in the series. i think after the movie gets in therters a bunch of dbz fans should sent the company making it letters theying them how bad they messed up dbz.

From the recent photos of the live-action movie, it seems to have some promise that it will go well. My only concern is Stephen Chow not directing it but acting as producer. Shaolin Soccer and Kung-Fu Hustle are great works of Chow, but instead we get the guy who does the Final Destination movies (which were disappointing for a horror movie, in my opinion).
I also hear that the movie, if successful, will become a trilogy with the next 2 movies covering the Vegeta & Freeza Sagas, respectively. I'm not sure about this, but i hear a short DBZ movie will be shown in Japan this month as part of Shonen Jump's yearly anniversary, among other short films like Bleach and One Piece. Goku btw is my fave char, followed by Vegeta, and Piccolo in third. Also crossing my fingers that Dragonball Online gets an English release. |

I just can't picture real life people with crazy hair running around screaming things and shooting Kai Blasts at people/objects. As an anime, I like DBZ. Don't think I'll like the live action movie. |

At first I didn't like Dragonball Z but one day when there was nothing else on I decided to watch it and I start to like it. My favorite character is Vegeta by far. I don't normal like guys like Vegeta in an anime but there's something about Vegeta than I can't help but like. I have the first season on DVD now and I've watched it already. I'm planning to get the rest of series on DVD at some point. I'm not sure that a live action dbz would be much good. The summary for it sounds a corny if you ask me.

sorry my favorite was nevera sayan to begin with. im a Picolo fan. as far as the movie goes, ill be skipping that one. Chow Yun-Fat is good but will make a horrible master roshi, and whichever casting director decided it would be a smart move to get their Chi Chi from the Real World will soon get whats coming to her...and i hope he ends up in prison too
