I play mallets and just about any piece of hand percussion you can throw at me.
And a little drums... just a little.

I play with Bass drum, Timpani and Crash cymbols mostly.
I Struggle with mallets because of Poor Hand eye coorodrination.
Do you do Marching and Concert band? I do.
Feild show this year is Spotlight on Broadway.

In the past I did marching and concert. As well as Jazz band (aux and vocalist >3), Percussion ensemble, and Pit band.

Right now I'm playing in a Pit Orchestra for one of the groups on campus.
We're doing Ragtime.
I get to play Mallets, Timp, some drums, as well as tons of hand perc.

Happened quite a bit in my younger years... Eh, high school had way too much teenager-induced hilarity. And I agree Cho; no matter what instrument you played, people could take it entirely the wrong way.

Interestingly enough, I almost went for clarinet first instead of trumpet. D: How does that make you feel? ;D
