Same. One of the good things that came from that, is that via the internet I reintroduced myself to the original Ghostbusters & Ninja Turtles cartoons, and started crossover shipping Janine Melnitz & April O'Neil, or as I like to call them, Janipril.

Lol those were the best. I also enjoyed X-Men, that was good. Although this is going more into the 90's, I also loved Gargoyles. None of which were on CN, but great shows nonetheless.

Yeah, cartoons from back in that era were super. Sad part is, and I kid you not about this, CN doesn't advertise for their Boomerang channel or for the shows on it; they even go as far as taking certain classic cartoons off the lineup and not airing them, in hopes that NOT seeing them will make people buy the DVD sets. What. the. ********.

It's been garbage for years. Cartoon Network was brilliant when it first came out. It went to s**t quickly after, each year getting worse & worse. I only watch their sister station, Boomerang. And even now, they're polluting that network with crap that came out during the 90s. Uh yeah, some of us actually WANT to watch the stuff from the 60s-80s.

I'm not surprised that so many responses here would be negative,
as adults and teens probably shouldn't expect to like children's programming.
Plus, there's always the option of changing the channel.

And if you want 'better' cartoons to come out,
and don't like any on CN right now, that's just tough luck for you.

CN is going to premiere about 5 new original series in 2010, so there might be something there.

It's not the fact that must of us are teens and adults it just that they took all the good shows off CN and added in crap such as "CN real" i mean wtf it's a cartoon channel what does it need real shows for.And on top all of the CN real shows suck.Flap jack is ok but it gets annoying after awhile chowder is ok.but everything else is trash.And im not the only one that does not like whats on CN rite almost everybody n this forum agree's.

I totally agree with you. I remember the days of DBZ, Gundam, Sailor moon, yu yu hakusho and kenshin!! those were the days man!!! and they even used to show cartoons like billy and mandy (gotta luv that chick), powerpuff girls..... and the list went on. I actually used to only watch Cartoon network now its just plain crap!!! then they made it worse and started showing programs with real ppl!!! like hello its supposed to be CARTOON network. If i wanted to see real frigging ppl i could always look out the bloody window at the idiots next door!!! (sigh) producers have lost sight of the good stuff!!!! rolleyes
