I never heard of them before until now. I don't understand being say however the music is catchy and the leader singer, at times, reminds me of the lead singer of rise against. Just not as aggressive.

Of course. Favorite song by them would have to be the rewritten version of the 4th openigng of the FullMetal Alchemist series.
