Now to those who actually care about something besides creating a scene for sheer pleasure I'm more than happy to meet you. It'd be nice being able to actually talk to somebody, decently. I've been writing for six years and my muse has decided to lock herself up tight till she can be appreciated again. So I figured I'd come here and try to meet some nice decent people who know my pain. I wanted to help others in hopes that doing so will allow me to write like I used to. I have written Harry Potter, Inuyasha, and Final Fantasy fan-fiction. Plus my own little writings that have helped me grown accustomed to writing more than something another person created. I'd like to help anyone I can or write with others whatever the wind blows me too.

First off i didnt know it was a slow thread and second brainstorming is a process of writing...aka its about writing if your not interested ignore ok. It's that simple and im not starting any group like thing till i know i have a group of people to do it. So please thanks for the advice but my topic is for writers so it does belong under a writing forum and leave me be please unless you would like to join my cause.

What she means is, the Writer's forum is more about the technical aspects of writing. Like if you want to discuss character archetypes, ask for writing tips, discussing creative processes. People don't really come here to "brainstorm" or find other people to write with, they come to discuss writing itself.

sweetie you just listed everything brainstorming and finding a group is about. Really think this through this is a place that discusses all of these things. Look its freedom of speech and i posted in the appropriate place. Just cause i used different words than you have doesn't mean im not here doing what i should. I'm not looking to talk with people who are here to try and boot me off because like the writer i am i use a different word choice than others. I want to talk to people who are friendly and welcoming that can talk to me about creative processes and characters. Pleas if your going to argue with somebody over a word choice maybe you should find out what exactly they mean. And its nice to know a fellow writer looking for others is unwelcome. How nice of a way to write with others. All you have to do is IGNORE a post you dont like. Thank you

Look, what you want is a group of people to come together and think together, right? "I have an idea, let's see if my buddy can enhance that idea."
Great concept, except that it's been done again and again. Doesn't mean you can't do it. Just do it in the right place. Making a thread for it is pointless and starting a guild for it would take you far. Hell, if you weren't so busy about arguing about "word choice," you could have started a guild and have two or three members. This is a place to talk about specifics. "What is the exception to 'I before E except after C'," "Is my villian too much of an a*****e," "what do I do about writer's block," etc.
Do yourself a favor and open your mind. You'll go farther.

By the way, welcome to the writer's forum. Everything you wanted in just one thread has been turned into a cesspool of knowledge known as a "forum."

Dude. I really hope you're lying about having read the rules. Either you haven't read those rules specific to this forum (which would be the stickies and announcements) and thus your only failing is ignorance, which can be corrected - or else you really have read the rules and chose to ignore them because you think you're special and don't have to follow the rules. That's Pride, with a capital P. The sort that comes before a fall - also known as arrogance.
