I'm pro-choice here. I don't think anyone but the woman who is pregnant should be able to dictate what she does concerning her pregnancy. I do hope that if my girlfriend were to become pregnant, that she'd talk to me first if she wanted to abort... but, I'd feel the final decision would be with her in the end.
I have a bit of a question, just out of curiosity, not meaning to be offensive. What if a woman underwent an amniocentesis and found that the baby has Down's syndrome and decided to abort. Would you think this morally wrong or still her choice?
Personally, I'd still think it the woman's choice. If she didn't want the poor child born into the world with a severe disability, never to be able to live life to it's true fullest, then that's her decision. It's in her womb, it's her body, her jurisdiction.
